Barcode Reader 4 is an iPod app designed to replace barcode scanner devices
The app offers two modes of scanning:
-Batch Scan: the user scans multiple barcodes with their iPod, and the app generates a single QR code. Scanning this QR code in POS or Shipments with the Camera Barcode Reader will add all the scanned items to the transaction at once.
-Single Scan: the app can be used as a regular scanner device. If paired with POS/Shipments, it will send every scanned barcode there. In this mode, not only merchandise items but also cartons, Gift Cards, Member cards, etc. can be scanned.
