Update Failure
B&N failed to update their app to match the recent iOS update so none of the books in the app are accessible. you just receive a red trianfle with an exclamation point and the occassional explanation about the certificate not syncing.
NOT WORKING
After the latest IOS update, the Nook app is no longer working. Others have said the same thing. Message is that it is unable to validate the time certificate, even though the time is correct and up to date in the Settings. Help!
MAJOR BUG
Major bug—app falsely claims iOS time/date is out of sync and flat refuses to download anything. I tried everything, app simply refused to download.
This app is the worst and I want my money back
The nook app is locking me out of the the books I bought. It will not download them and says I need to update my time settings so they match for security. I did that. Five times. This is ridiculous. I just bought new books and now I can’t read any of them. I would give zero stars if I could. Barnes and Nobles, please fix this app.

Meh…
Freezes often, so I have to close it out and restart it. Don’t get my pre-ordered books when I’m supposed to. Can’t purchase ebooks through the apps, only through the glitchy website. It’s like B&N is forcing you to get the subpar Nook. I would have gotten the Kindle app except I had a bunch of books I had already purchased back when I had a Nook.

Missing books, won’t play
I’ve had audiobooks that won’t play for weeks. I keep getting error messages and nothing will work.
Audiobook constantly loses its place
No idea as to why (it’s not a bookmark issue) but, with the book I’m currently listening to as well as the previous one a month or so ago, the audiobook goes back to a previous spot three or four chapters back. I wasted 20 minutes today trying to get back to where I was before I went to an appointment. No other app I use does this!

I read about the book and saw how many pages are in the book, then when I buy it and get access it changes. In the description it says 400 pages then they take my money and I open the book and it’s only 200 pages. That’s ridiculous. This platform will not get another dime out of me.

Unable to listen
I bought a new audiobook a few weeks ago was able to listen to it the first two days no nothing nothing but error messages. Tried reaching out no response should used kindle I guess.

Been a Nook E-book reader for years.
I want to update my B&N nook app.
First is the TTS works great on my Lenovo Nook.
Wish it had 128 gb of storage, but the Nook ebooks can be transferred to an external SD chip.
With google apps store there are more available.

No longer shows cloud books, can’t download samples
I prefer to keep my books and samples downloaded. I can no longer see which books are stored in the cloud. Why would you remove functionality?
Also, samples can no longer be downloaded. I used these to keep track of books I am interested in, for future reading. Can’t do that any longer. Again, why would you remove functionality?
It’s bad enough you don’t have a “based on books you’ve bought, here are some suggestions” after I’ve logged in. It’d be useful for keeping track of new releases in the series I’ve been following. Or for new similar books to consider.
I’m so disappointed with the app. I have been reading a lot of books for over 15 years, I have 800+ in my library. But it may be time to seek a new app and provider.

Love all of Otho Eskin’s books and his character, Marlo Zorn. Always great plot lines and interesting characters. Such easy reads. Look forward to his next book.

So I got this app thinking I FINALLY found a free book app— spoiler alert, I didn’t. It literally says FREE books, FREE! If you’re looking for a free book app, I highly do not recommend this. I mean, I guess it’s an okay app but still, they lied.
Missing books
Quite a few of my purchased books do not show up in the app. Very frustrating! B&N need to get their act together. First my nook won’t update anymore and now quite a few of my favorite books aren’t available on the app. Very disappointing to say the least!
