You need to go into,settings and assign permissions .
The developer pointed this out and now it is effective and what I needed.
If you want to remove the Ad Banner there is a small payment but it does run without that .

Jackson ----original message--- The app is totally free actually (save for the ad banner). You do not have to pay to activate the barometer - the purchase is purely optional to disable the ad banner, and activate a couple optional features that only certain power users need. If itâs. not working for you, it is probably because you have the system permissions disabled that are required for the barometer data. If you contact me via the link in the app, I can walk you through getting it working for free!

Hallo, die App verwendet topografische Höhendaten von Apple Maps. Aus DatenschutzgrĂŒnden frage ich nicht nach dem genauesten Standort, sondern nur nach einer ungefĂ€hren Position, damit die Höhe fĂŒr die Berechnung bestimmt werden kann. Wohnen Sie in einer Wohnung oder in einem höheren GebĂ€ude? Oder sind die topografischen Daten an Ihrem Standort möglicherweise falsch? Die Kartendaten erfassen normalerweise nur die GelĂ€ndehöhe, nicht die Höhe innerhalb eines GebĂ€udes. Ein Höhenfehler von etwa 20 m hat nur einen sehr kleinen Einfluss auf die Berechnung des Luftdrucks auf Meereshöhe, ungefĂ€hr 0,25 %. Trotzdem möchte ich natĂŒrlich, dass meine Kundinnen und Kunden mit der App zufrieden sind. Bitte schreiben Sie mir gerne per E-Mail, dann können wir gemeinsam die beste Lösung besprechen. WĂŒrden Sie die Höhe einfach manuell ĂŒberschreiben und einen festen Wert eingeben wollen? Das könnte ich einbauen. My first barometer
Itâs straight forward and presents the data in a clear graph so I get to see the history with useful additions like notifications , sharing , date spans etc.and Iâm looking forward to tracking our pressure alongside my other instruments (yes I am a weather freak with my netatmo instruments)

Thanks for the review! That's really cool to hear because the inspiration behind Barograph was my grandpa's barometer which I inherited and its still on my wall. When I lived in Texas and had to deal with hurricanes I always loved watching the pressure change. I actually bought a digital standalone barograph on eBay and used that for a few years, then a Netatmo as well. When Apple started shipping iPhones with a barometer on board I wanted to use the at a on my phone instead, and so I created Barograph! I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Hey there. Thanks for writing a review. I'm sorry I missed the regional date format - update is already incoming to fix that! As far as history, there's button on the toolbar to toggle between "all data" mode and last 48-hours which is what I think you want. Some people like the longer format for research etc. so I try to give options. The data points probably won't get chunkier but you can export to CSV and plot them with your preferred method if you like. I hope you enjoy Barograph after the date-fix update more than the star-rating shows! Feel free to reach out with any more ideas or suggestions. I'm just one guy and the app can maybe feel a little rough around the edges sometimes, and I'm sorry for that. I typically respond pretty quickly and hope that sets my app from the crowd a bit. I hope you find the app useful at some level despite its flaws.
Continuous monitor mode

Unfortunately Apple does not allow continuous background tasks. We comply with Apple's requirements by using "Background App Refresh" a feature which periodically requests new data, but the request rate is controlled by the operating system based on available battery life and how much iOS thinks you want to see the data. There's no way around it, but at least we are able to grab multiple data points per day (more than enough for pressure trends), and the more you use the app the more frequently the system will request data. This is very strange. It works for myself (I use it daily) and thousands of happy users so I can't think of any reason why you'd see a blank screen. You contacted support but then never responded to us - please respond so we can try to help you. I recommend you reboot your phone and try again. Failing that, delete the app and reinstall from the App Store (don't worry - it will restore your in app purchase so you won't lose anything if you try this). When it asks for "motion & fitness" permissions please say yes. Thanks. -The Barograph Support Team

Or: you just want to know how much the air pressure changes during traveling. On my last trip 222 mbar (6.6 inHg) from Donner Pass til Sacramento!
