Fantastic Lessons
This app and online site is an amazing resource for anyone serious about jazz guitar. It is aimed at the intermediate or advanced guitarist. There are many lessons covering technique and the best way to learn your instrument but importantly a lot of the focus is on playing tunes using the knowledge gained.
The videos are very well presented in a friendly way. What I find extremely helpful is Barry’s patient manner in all his videos always repeating concepts so they become well ingrained. This gives a consistency to your learning. In addition I have never seen a comment or query on any lesson that Barry has not answered personally and promptly which also helps. There are many lessons on the site but the search function is really great and I have genuinely improved so much !

The lessons cover all aspects of jazz guitar. They are absolutely excellent. Barry is not only a guitar virtuoso, but also a great educator. His expertise in explaining even the most difficult concepts is unparalleled. He makes every lesson topic accessible to guitarists of all levels. Great instructions
I have always enjoyed Barry’s lesson, I just happen to see one clip on YouTube. I know these lessons have a lot of great jazz information but really it’s for all styles. His harmony instructions on chords are amazing it will improve your playing right away, they are so many great lesson to choose from. I’m so happy I joined these lessons I’m learn a lot just from a few days.

Whether your a beginner or an advanced player, there’s something here for everyone. I especially appreciate the topical lessons and chord melody studies. The video and accompanying *.pdf files and (some lessons) backing tracks are fantastic. Barry is a monster player and a fantastic teacher - a real treasure.
