Eigentlich ne ziemlich gute App. Auch die kostenlose Version ist anständig. Leider funktioniert die Freundesliste bei mir nicht, was wirklich sehr enttäuschend ist. Es ist trotz Freundeslink nicht möglich andere Leser hinzuzufügen :(
Waste of time unless you want to spend money
I was able to log about seven different times of reading before it would no longer let me continue without subscribing. If you actually want to use this app to track how long you’re reading, I would not recommend this app. I would understand if it limited the amount of times you could log throughout the day but after seven sessions, it would not let me do anything without giving them money.

Hate the Pivot to AI
This is great for people who don’t wanna social media their book reading, and the notes features and log is lovely. I hate the pivot they’re taking towards AI so I’ll be looking for an alternative. Also if you dont get the in app purchases you’re not gonna be able to log your reading sessions faithfully because the app limits the amount of sessions you can do over a certain amount of time so be warned.

It could be better, but it works.
I used to love basmo. I really liked all the categories you could put the books in, but something is missing. I cannot put something into already read and to be read. I know it sounds silly, but I want a tbr list for the books I have audiobooked and now want to physically read. It also does not have a section on the book itself to identify whether it’s an ebook, audiobook, hardcover, or softcover. I do not have premium, so I have not seen the full extent of the app, but there is also no second read feature or the option to bypass the start date.

Basmo response team lacking
I’ve been using this app for almost 4 years now to track my books. I love it. But now I’m trying to share and track my books with others and I can’t seem to add friends to my app, and I’ve messaged the Basmo team with no response or assistance. Disappointing. Makes me not want to share this app with others, or find a new one completely!!

Great app, slight issue
I love this app, it really helps me get into reading. I like being able to see how long it predicts it will take to finish the book. The only issue is, I’ve gone into the app and instead of the button saying ‘start new session’, it’s saying ‘resume session’. I’ve gone on and ended the session but it keeps saying ‘resume session’ and it’s still timing you. This has happened 3 or 4 times now. I have to delete the app, reinstall it, and log back in, but sometimes it doesn’t save all the books I’ve read so it loses all the data from those books.

This app is trash
My friends and I all downloaded this app and the app just does not work. I can’t connect my Goodreads so I have to start over with logging books. You can’t invite your friends. And the app looked different for some of us with looking at our weekly progress. Do not download this app it doesn’t work.

J’adore l’appli mais je risque d’en utiliser une autres car la fonction partager avec des amis ne fonctionne pas et c’est relou.
Je sais pas si c’est parce que j’ai la version gratuite mais je préfère avoir un peu de pub et pouvoir partager plutôt que m’en passer.

Inviter un Ami est impossible
J’ai essayé de nombreuses fois d’inviter ma cousine pour qu’on se supporte entre nous mais l’app a un beug est cela ne fonctionne pas, ce serait bien que vous puissiez régler le souci car c’est dommage. Sinon je n’ai pas encore pu tester vraiment l’app mais ma cousine en dit beaucoup de bien !

I love the app because it is simple and most importantly it helps me read more. I like seeing how I progress with my reading, check my stats, set goals, take notes and save books I want to read next. I have a subscription and for me it’s been worth it, I’ve gone from barely reading at all to reading 35 books a year!

Love this app! It helps me keep track of books I own so I don’t accidentally purchase it again which I’ve done multiple times in the past. It would be great if I click on a book and it shows me the collections I already have it in. Otherwise, I have to check all of my many collections to see if I already own it. Or maybe if there was a default list of “Owned” since it asks you if you own the book. Maybe this already exists and I’m just having trouble finding it 🙂

Good but
The app is great at keeping track of what I read…for the most part. Two issues I have is that many times the covers to books will “white out” or they won’t load. I’m not sure why that occurs and I can get past that but it be nice if that didn’t happen. The bigger issue (or at least I don’t know how) is the book log will not let you document or track the same book more than once. When I try to add it to the “finished” list it does nothing if I’ve read it before. I would like to know how many times I’ve read a specific book or track how many times I have and on what days.
