Vibe coded age of war

This game is very obviously made with AI, but the base design is good because the inspiration is so ageless.

For the developer: you need to cut down on the unit descriptions, or hide them in like a manual or something.

There's truly an insane amount of verbose description for every unit and half of it is completely unnecessary.

Another thing is that advancing through the ages doesn't really feel very fulfilling because units are basically the same in each era. I understand that's how it kinda worked in Age of War but it's a lot more obvious here because it's supposed to be an improvement/iteration right?

Like even the upgrades for each corresponding unit are the same. The shield guy has the same upgrades in each era. The spear guy has the same upgrades. The "dragon" has the same upgrades. It feels a little dull?

Horde mode also basically crashes at a certain point. The amount of units the AI spawns causes my iPhone 15 pro max to slow down to like 5fps at around wave 15.

I think maybe the unit designs need iteration or for there to just be less? Half of them are honestly kind of pointless. You can essentially win every battle with a combination of catapults/necromancers.

Really hits the spot off that classic game we all used to play

Cheater in game

A guy name Trevor is quitting mid game when he start to lose to keep his trophies. He is exploiting it.

A tower defence game that isn’t boring.

Super fun tower defence game with a lot of depth to it. So many different game modes and challenging aspects to it so you never get bored.

AMAZING game - ruined completely by ADVERTS!

I am a bit of a stubborn guy, and it is my opinion that in the big 2026 we are way past the forced ads thing, and so even more way past the forced ads in the middle of gameplay thing. So much so that I have developed a rule, no matter how much I enjoy a game, if it FORCES me to watch an ad, I uninstall it. Sometimes I make exceptions, where if a game is truly amazing I’ll deal with the ads here and there, but I have always stood firm on if a game were to give me a forced ad MID GAMEPLAY it was goin’ to the Gulag. Until today. Until this game. This is a game that made me break my rule! For at least an hour I was dealing with the forced ads MID GAMEPLAY, cos I was enjoying it THAT much, but they just became way too much, so I am writing this review before I bring the app to it’s untimely end on my phone. If you don’t care about ads, or can play with airplane mode on, or would happily pay money to remove them, this game is great and you’ll thoroughly enjoy it. If, like me, you’re a stubborn fool, this game is not worth your time but ONLY because of the ads. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
