Love the game but needs an update
I've had this game since the first gen iPhone. I've really enjoyed playing it over the years. It can get very addictive. I bought a "flashier" version of battleship as well, just to see which I preferred. I prefer this one. I really like that it is fairly simple and doesn't have a bunch of annoying, time and battery wasting graphics. They need to update it though. Some of the features no longer work on the current iOS. I miss seeing my stats at the end of the game!

Was fun and 4 stars, but doesn't work on WiFi any more
As others have noted, WiFi multiplayer has been broken for some time. Is it 3GS or the current iPhone OS 3.1.3 or what? How about an update to fix multiplayer play??
Crashes on multiplayer
My friend just bought this so we could play multiplayer. Kept crashing and couldn't finish one game! Fail. Update this or make it free because it's not fully functional. Who wants to play battleship with just a computer?

There should be a mode where two people could play on one iPhone such as taking turns and passing back and forth the iPhone. An internet mode would be nice, as the other battleship game made by another developer has an internet option for the same amount of money. A problem with the LAN mode is that both people need the game in order to play it. Developer, you should make a network version of this game that is free and only lets the user play over the local network.

Please add cells firing. Add PT boat fires up to three cells, battleship five cells, submarine four cells, destroyer four cells and aircraft carrier up to eight cells. Add three sonars for aircraft carrier, PT boat, battleship, destroyer and submarine. Add firing cells flying, add three turns for each opponents and please allow us to change spots during the battle. Please allow us to choose any ship to open fire or launch. Please allow us to fire the same spot we have fired just incase the enemy moved their ships. Add action song from battleship fleet command for the main menu and for during the battle. Add ship noises but really really loud. Add islands and Naval Bases. Please allow us to choose any ship.
