Rubbish app
This app embodies the rubbish service Blizzard provides. It’s clunky, impractical and don’t think for one second you’ll get any useful help if you do have any questions about how it works (or - doesn’t). Everything this organisation does is designed to keep the customer at arms length, avoid contact at all costs and do not engage whatsoever with people. If you do manage to get I in contact with their lousy ‘games masters’ all you get are scripted, useless answers. A disgraceful organisation that’s evidently forgotten people are more important than technology.

Very Old app
It’s time to step it up and update your app to modern times. For example, Valve Steam on iPad is beautifully designed. Why are we still using a mobile battle.net app on iPads? Break open your bank and invest to improve your app.

App will not login to battle.net account
Running iOS 17.3.1 on an iPhone Xs.
After launching the app I tap on the login button. A popup window appears which says “Battle.net” wants to use “battle.net” to Sign In. I tap continue. It opens an in-app browser page with the login screen for battle.net. I enter my credentials and tap login. The browser window closes and I am met once again by the popup window telling me “Battle.net” wants to use “battle.net” to Sign In. I tap continue and the browser window with battle.net opens again, but this time the screen says 500 and below that, “An error has occurred” with a “Back to Login” button underneath. I tap the “Back to Login” button and it takes me back to where I have to enter my credentials again. I enter them and tap Login and it pulls up an authentication message telling me to check my authenticator for such and such code and to tap “approve”. The authenticator does not do this until I minimize and re-open the app, at which point the request comes up and I tap approve. I am then logged in to my battle.net account ON THE IN-APP BROWSER AND NOT ON THE APP. Closing the browser window takes me back to the app with the login button. I repeat the entire process and get the same results. Closing the browser at any point takes me back to the app’s Login screen. Fix your app.
Edit years later: this issue still persists and the issue has not been fixed.

What happened??
Loved having this app. It made my account more secure. But a couple months ago it just stopped loading. In order for me to be able to log in to play my game I had to go in and remove authenticator. I figured it was a bug and would be fixed with an update but no. Two to three months and it still won’t load. So annoying!

Too high minimums
No longer works on my phone and I'm not in a position to upgrade. Used to work ok, though i occasionally had some issues getting to the approval screen quickly enough.
Doesn’t work after last update
After the recent updates this app doesn’t work! Attached to contact support to no avail! Now I can’t get into my Diablo games!
Authenticator broke everything
It broke both the Battle.net app as well as Diablo Immortal when I tried authenticating. Don’t do it🤷🏽♂️
Fallen from glory
Over the years this app has lost features and become significantly more bloated with bad coding and AI slop.
Company’s need to stop stepping over dollars to save pennies and start hiring good quality workers. Not cutting labor and hiring bodies to meet quotas for a loud and outspoken 20%.
New blizzard is trash and their products from games to software only continue to solidify as they choose profit and agendas over their core audience.

App doesn’t work
Cannot get app to open at all. Get the battle.net symbol then it crashes. Has worked great until recently. Bliz needs to fix this right away. Loved have the 2F, but had to disconnect it sense app doesn’t open. With that also lost my extra bag slots!!! Not cool Bliz.

Awful app
I only downloaded this so I could write a title when forming a mythic group and it is abysmal. It straight up never opens when I try to load it and every time I try to do anything in the web browser I now have to jump through hoops to authenticate myself because the app doesn’t even work AT ALL overall rating is a 0/10 a complete waste of time and effort

this app is so irritating i cant log in and when i was logged in it wouldnt let me use any app features and kept asking me to sign in when i was. i tried reinstalling and it wasnt any help :(
