Face ID does not work and other bugs
It does not prompt for it. I even tried to delete what was saved for FaceID and re-add it, in addition to deleting the app and reinstalling it. I keep tapping the FaceID section and it comes up with a blank screen with header. I’ll try to return to the home page and it does not respond as easily either…

Bay state savings bank
This bank is terrible.. I tried to make a payment yesterday and I was instantly declined.. I had money in my account and it still declined me.. it won’t even let me manage my cards to see if it’s u locked.. bay state is very terrible. Stay away from these guys

The new versatiles theme is the worst banking experience ever. I am so restricted in what I can view and how fast. Everything is hard to view with its bland font and whitw background. Account information is forced into a small centered text box and advertisements take up the top and bottom of the screen. Instead of immediately viewing accounts , you must now go through steps after login.

Fix this app!
I am a very happy BSSB customer yet this app is terrible! I am constantly getting locked out and cannot get access to my accounts through the 1-800 number. I’m forced to go into the bank to resolve! I love, love, love BSSB but the mobile banking app is horrible! Please fix!!!

Step up your game
The app upgrade has been a total disappointment. I have moved from the area and still with BSSB because I’ve been there for 30 years but can’t sustain staying without the ability to deposit checks online due to an app that doesn’t work.
(I find if I delete and reload the app it will work when it “freezes up”)

Pure Trash
The app layout was poorly designed. I’m unable to see my full account number, I have to go through all these extra security questions every time I log in, and on top of that, the app doesn’t work 99.9% of the time. They should get rid of the app and stick with the webpage.

Literally every time I open it, it crashes instantly
Fix deposit check
Depositing a check on this app is awful. The camera doesn’t even angle at the check and half the time it doesn’t read it. Usually takes about 3-4 times before it will accept the deposit. Needs a serious update on that front.
The mobile check deposit no longer works
They have messed up the camera on the mobile check deposit and it is next to impossible to deposit a check through the app anymore. That’s the only reason I have the app. Please fix, it’s been 2 months!!!!
Latest update has critical mobile check deposit bug.
My app was updated on April 29, 2020 with the generic “bug fixes”. However, now I have a major bug that wasn’t there previously; the camera that pops up for mobile check deposit is a square instead of a rectangle and there isn’t the grid that used to appear when the check was appropriately framed. I reached out and was told that the bank is aware of the issue, but I wasn’t offered a timeline on a fix or any solution. Ultimately I figured out on my own that if I unlocked my screen from displaying vertically only, the camera adjusted in landscape mode, so I was able to finally deposit my check. Ideally this bug will be updated so others don’t experience the same issue and need to figure out on their own to unlock their phone’s screen.

Need Update ASAP.
This new update has got me $20 late feed for unsend money. After the email that states “bills that are send before the update 'new system,' would not be affected by the upgrade.” Well, unfortunately for me, one of my bill didn't make its way. Paying with the app, which it was handy for me, was so handy and easy for me! Please, please update this application ASAP. Also, add more fonts to this app, the few that are to choose are so dull, opaque, confusing color choice, and hard to see the words on the app font. Lastly, fix the issue of the WHOLE wording of the application, especially the pay bill.
