It’s like no thought went into the UI, R&D and testing of the app
Does not connect
The actual bbqube device is great. Set it and forget it. The app is a waste of time. Won’t connect to bluetooth or wifi. Worked the first couple if times I used it and hasn’t since.
Temp controller great, this app not so much
Hard if not impossible to get/keep this app connected to the BBQube controller. Hopefully this app will be improved in the future. I continue to love the controller but the BBQube app is less than worthless after years to fix it.
Setting Temperature Alerts
Yes, I can’t set any temperature alerts other than the ones that are preprogrammed in for different types of meats and their degree of doneness. You can enter in a number but there is no way to get out of the keyboard mode.
App is crap
Love the controller but the app is ridiculously bad. Can’t even use it on the iPhone 8. No way to exit out of the keyboard when setting probe temp. No way to connect to WiFi. The developers should be thoroughly embarrassed and immediately remove the app until it has been fixed and verified.
