If you live in Florida or visit the beach often, this app is incredibly helpful.
As a mom who moved to Southwest Florida a few years ago, BeachLens is exactly the kind of app I wish I had from day one. Before finding it, I had to bounce between multiple websites just to figure out basic beach info, and honestly, that kind of research is hard to keep up with when you have kids.
Questions like: Are there rip current warnings before I pack everyone up? Which beaches allow dogs? Are there bathrooms nearby? Is food available? What is the Red Tide warning? These were all things I often didn’t know until we arrived.

Told me everything I needed to know before visiting the beach. I grew up on the beach and it even told me some info I was not aware of. The access points and parking map helped me find some spots in my home town I didn’t know about.
