Nothing short of a professional life saver. I am often so busy that the 15 minute warning from Outlook doesn’t help, I get side tracked in that time and miss a call. Or if I’m not at my desk, this gives me the warning I need to jump back.

Calendar alarms done right
Of all the calendar alarm apps out there, Beacon is the only one that does what I need it to do. Create a rule, set the conditions, and a real alarm will trigger, so you won’t miss an important meeting again. I used to have a series of alarms that I would keep up to date, but now Beacon does all that for me.
The latest update perfected matching by attendance status, so I can create one rule against my work calendar for all events that I’ve accepted and it matches everything I need it to.
It also works with all the calendars that I’ve added to the Calendar app, including Google Calendar.
If you want some calendar events to behave like real alarms instead of easy-to-miss notifications, this is the app.

Hey! Sorry to hear that this is an issue for you. I can understand why it would be frustrating to have an alarm go off for a cancelled event. Fortunately, you can resolve this by configuring your alarm rule to exclude cancelled events! If you need help doing this please send me an email at support@beaconcalendar.com
Incredible app
This app brings true alarm like reminders to calendar events. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve requested this feature from Apple. Beacon Makes calendar events, reliable again.

This app has been huge for helping me ease out of deep focus work in a way that I don’t miss meetings and have actual time to prepare.
Beacon’s special sauce is its rules system that lets you predefine which calendar events automatically set alarms so you can set it up and forget it.
The recent update added a Shortcut action to Sync action which is helpful when paired with automations to ensure that beacon has the freshest calendar data from iOS. This is particularly helpful if you have a rapidly changing calendar on the same day and iOS isn’t always up to date
The developer does good responding to feedback as well and has implemented a few features I’ve asked for (including the one I mentioned above) to make the app better for me.

Calendar reminders finally work
I’m a shift worker and work an irregular schedule and it’s always been a pain to schedule alarms in advance. I used to use shortcuts and galarm, alarmed that would trigger alarms getting scheduled but now this app makes it so much easier
