Beacon turns a handheld RFID reader into a merchandise identification tool. Pair a Bluetooth RFID reader, sweep a shelf, a stockroom or a pallet, and Beacon identifies what it captured — brand, product and inventory status — in seconds, without scanning barcodes one item at a time. WHAT IT DOES • Reads RFID tags in bulk with a paired Bluetooth reader — hundreds of tags in a single sweep, no typing. • Identifies each tag against your organization's product and inventory data, so a shelf or a pallet becomes an itemized list. • Resolves the brand owner behind a tag even when an item is not in your own data, so you can tell what you are holding. • Verifies inventory in the field: see what is present, what is expected, and what does not reconcile. • Works offline. Tags are captured and queued on the device, then sent when a connection is available — a stockroom with no signal does not cost you the sweep. • Emails a CSV of everything read, for your own records. WHO IT IS FOR Asset protection and inventory teams who need to identify merchandise in volume and quickly — in a stockroom, at a dock, or anywhere counting items by hand is too slow. You can register in the app; full data access requires an approved organization account. • A compatible Bluetooth RFID reader for live reading (Zebra RFD8500 / RFD40 and Chainway R5 / R6 are supported).
