Just Some Suggestions
Hey there long time beat hazard fan! I hate giving bad reviews especially for a solo dev so I won’t! BUT there is an issue I gotta talk about which ruined beat hazard 2 on IOS for me and now Beat Hazard Arcade. Not being able to port music through files. Almost all of my music is on my phone storage and it really sucks not being able to play any of it. Having to HAVE to go with iTunes or Apple Music limits me to afew select songs which gets old after while. I’ve seen other apps be able to import music from files so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be too hard to ask. But who knows, I’m no dev and so I can’t really say how easy it would be, but that’s all I’m asking for. Wishing the best for this game.

Doesn’t support Music Files
The game is boring if you can’t use music files that’s downloaded on your phone. I buy all my music outright so not including music files from iPhone makes the song library so small that it’s boring after a couple songs

Apple Music says it’s supported, it’s not
So in the description it says this works with your apple music library. When you launch the game for the first time it does ask you if you want the game to access your apple music account. However once you’re in game it only uses the OST not any of your apple music songs. Not worth playing till that’s fixed

Ich suche mir ein Lied von Apple Musik aus und starte das Spiel. Und dann kommt die Standard Techno Musik aus dem Menü. Ganz großes Kino. Funktioniert also nicht wie es soll - wieder gelöscht

Schlechte Steuerung und kein Vollbild möglich. Unspielbar. Direkt in die Tonne!
Bild zu klein
Das Spiel füllt auf dem iPad gerade mal in Viertel des Bildschirms aus. Sofort wieder gelöscht
Pas d’accès musique perso
À corriger au plus vite, aucune playlist perso. Validation au lancement pour connexion avec Apple Music, mais aucune piste perso au final. Là étant la quasi totalité de l’intérêt du jeu, je réviserais la note si c’est corrigé. Lancement loupé pour cette version IOS.

UPDATE: It seems the developer updated the UI and now the IAP button is available. I’ll Take back that single star and update it to a 4. I’ll update my review again when I’ve spent more time with the game.
I was really excited for this game and I was ready to just insta buy it. But the IAP option simply does not exist. I’ve checked every menu while getting bombarded with ads in the process. I’d like to see this fixed but between the excessive ads and the missing IAP I’m gonna have to single star this game. Not a great start. And mind you I grew up playing the older beat hazard games so the expectations were high

Apple Music not supported
So why does it scan and include those Apple Music subscription tracks then errors when attempting g to play them? The menu system isn’t nearly as user friendly as BH Ultra. Unlike Ultra, it isn’t clear what is or isn’t selected whereas Ultra was perfect for touchscreen selection. The Arcade version screen doesn’t size properly so the edges are cut off as well as text. It should have a portrait display option for mobile gaming which is what most people do while using a phone for breaks, travel, etc. Haptic feedback is also very useful for mobile and it’s missing. Was this beta tested for iOS?
