We've got a big update for you today. It's been months in the making, and today we are very happy to announce BeatMirror's brand new Range mode! It's the same BeatMirror you know and love, but now you have the option to set a nice big tempo range (instead of a target tempo) and start detecting tempo right away. The new Range mode also has a special triplet option for high accuracy in triplet-time. (You'll get a mini-walkthrough when you update the app.) Finally, we've added the ability to listen to whatever you like in your headphones during tempo detection (music from other apps, metronomes, etc.). I hope you like the new update. And as always, I'd love to hear any feedback you have. Just tap the envelope icon in BeatMirror to get in touch and I'll get back to you ASAP. -Alex

Pretty Nice!

As a songwriter this is a cool app. Gets you in the ballpark of bpm real fast. I usually have to adjust logic drummer just a smidge but not much. Very useful in a creative sense!

Accurate for Guitar?

I'm trying to use this to get faster at playing guitar and I'm comparing it to my metronome. The beat detection (for me bpm of picking speed) seems inaccurate. Anyone have success with this or suggestions? I'd love for this to work, would be a great tool.
