Over thinking.....

What's wrong with you people? A monkey could use this app. When you take off your apple watch, it records your sleep. Then you put your watch back on, it stops. Duh?

Very Basic

Very basic app and no way to access additional information. If you’re looking fir details regarding your sleep this free app is not for you. I’m using it temporarily while searching for the better paid app for my circumstances.

Sleep app

No info on how to use the app!

No 5 star rate

It’s not even tracking my sleep

Response from developer

Hi Mike, Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. If you’d like to contact me on hello@johnyorke.me I’d love to figure out why it’s not working. John

Tracking when watch is off

Is this the best Apple can do for sleep tracking? My Fitbit has been tracking my sleep the past five years to show when I was in a deep sleep vs. almost awake, this assumes you are sleeping when your watch is off? Laziest development ever.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. You should know that I am not Apple and nor do I represent them. In fact, I’m sure they could do a lot better than I (a simple, solo iOS developer) can. Fingers crossed sleep tracking is built into the system at some point in the future where, hopefully, it’s implemented less “lazily”.

FAQ

How does this app track sleep?

The app works by monitoring when you are not wearing your Apple Watch. It identifies these periods as sleep and automatically logs them into your iPhone's Health app. This process requires no manual input from the user.

Do I need to wear my phone to bed?

No, you do not need to sleep with your phone under your pillow or anywhere near you. The app relies solely on your Apple Watch's presence or absence to determine sleep times.

Is this app compatible with Android phones?

This application specifically requires an Apple Watch to function. Therefore, it is not compatible with Android phones or other non-Apple wearable devices.

How do I start and stop tracking my sleep?

You don't need to do anything to start or stop tracking. Simply take off your Apple Watch when you go to sleep, and the app will automatically detect this period and log it as sleep. When you put your watch back on, it will recognize the end of your sleep session.
