Mmmmm Beefy

Tasty app. I have a bunch of exciters & after trying a few in a track, I keep finding myself coming back to Beef. Versatile & easy to dial in.

Beware

Almost blew my ears out with one of the presets. This thing can be useful but be careful.

Excellent customer support

Only been using this a little, seems pretty excellent my main reason for the review is to praise the excellent and rapid response from the developer to a loading/crashing issue, from my initial email to issue being resolved? Under 48hrs ! Tremendous

Sounds terrible

Really weird low quality distortion. Sounds like just a shaper curve and that’s about it. It took the life out of my synth sounds. Just about any other distortion apps is better. And notice I’m saying “distortion”, because that’s primarily what this plugin does.

A real surprise

I admit when bought this I didnt have any real expectations but this thing is seriously usable for a lot of different situations. Available sounds run from general thickening to full on blasting distortion, yet always keeping the necessary good harmonics to sound warm to my ears. In my opinion this app is well worth it.
