Great app but something makes it completely unusable
The plugin itself is great, however, when choosing a tape type, the audio comes with a huge delay that throws everything off. If yall fix this bug I’ll definately change my review to 5 stars. Thanks
Ideal for musicians who need great presets ready to go
Since these are sampled instruments there’s no need to worry about having to fiddle with too many settings to get great sounds. Absolutely has a place among other synths and instruments on iOS. Now… if we could only convince the developer to bring all of these apps to macOS!
Response from developer
Hello, sorry for the issue that you had exporting from GarageBand. We have tested exporting with GarageBand using the newer version of Tape Pro (v1.2) on our devices and it is working. However, if you still have issues on your particular setup then please contact us at support@caelumaudio.com so we can immediately turn our attention to resolving the issue.
Bravo!
Well done. Solid emulation. Excellent feature set and UI. Integrates flawlessly with AUM.
I was looking at used old school tascam 4 track cassette recorders. Dawned on me somebody has made a plug-in for that. I bought a few and they really weren’t going to serve my needs. And then I found this gem.
Also bought a copy for my laptop DAW :-)

Dizzying number of options
Want mini cassette thinness and unreliability of fidelity or master 15 ips emulation? Want to add insane levels of Worbble to your synth tracks? This app does it all. A decent glue app for mastering but there are probably some better ones out there for twice the price. Still, at $5 USD you can’t go wrong to add this one to your audio arsenal.

Much more than a tape emulator
The new pro version is well worth the money. Yep, it does great tape emulation but take of the hiss and you’ll be surprised at how it can work as an effects unit as well.
