Now the app’s functionality is very interesting. It’s neat that you can take anything and turn it into a podcast style narration. Very engaging and functional. Your mileage may vary though.

Good, but very repetitive...
I give it some sources and then ask it to create a learning path based on it. It creates modules and lessons of audio Podcasts, but each lesson keeps covering a LOT of the same.
I listen to lesson 1, and think "great", then move into lesson 2 and think "hmmmm, you already covered most of this", then move into lesson 3 and get really disappointed that again 85% of it is almost exactly the same as what was covered in lessons 1 and 2...
This is of no use, as it is now.
Creating a single lesson: great.
Creating a learning path: be ready for terrible repetition.
Hope this will get solved soon.

Hey Agileadam, really glad BeFreed has been useful! In the current version, when you open a note and long-press the highlight, you will have the option to delete the highlight if you want. For the other flexibilities you mentioned, we have taken an internal note for the feature request and we will prioritize them accordingly. Change of layout

Thanks for the honest feedback, and sorry the new layout has made things harder to navigate. We did recently update the app, and part of that was giving you more control, you can now personalize each lesson, including the voice and the length you prefer. To change a lesson's length, open the lesson, go to the Style tab on the left, and tap Personalize for me. If you have any trouble finding it, reach out to us through Contact Us in Settings and we're happy to walk you through it. Thanks again for the feedback, we'll keep working to make the experience better.
Good BUT BUGGY! (but improving)
When it works, it's quite good - but the App is extremely BUGGY. Navigation is challenging, choosing voices is a pain, it forgets where it was, it plays a totally different audio then the book/podcast you selected, etc. Huge pity. This could be a winner if they solve all these app challenges... I'm coming from the HUXE App, which was 2 times better and 20 times more stable.
Great Bite Size Learning
I choose my lesson or topic for the day and listen while I’m making breakfast, travelling, out walking. The summaries are great and provide key points and concepts within minutes.
The app is easy to use and delivers what it says. It’s
also a great way to get a taster of books I haven’t read yet and areas I haven’t yet explored.
