This app has pleasantly surprised me with some amazing extra features, like other tunes the songs can be sung in and even playing extra most used tunes! This really helps me to sing more of the hymns and match more beautiful tunes with beautiful lyrics. I am so excited1 I love it!!

Excellent Hymnal App
Thank you for this hymnal app. What a blessing it is. I was not sure of what tune would go with a particular hymn and this app provided a couple of suggestions and played the music beautifully.

I really love having hymns at my fingertips. Thank you for making this app free! Please consider changing the dark background and grey text to something with more contrast. It's difficult to read unless the screen brightness is turned way up. Thanks again for a really functional app that puts the words to hymns in our pockets and our hearts.

The default background is dark at night and light during the day. You can change the background styles in the settings area to something you might like better.

Great help to my morning devotions!
This is a great little app to really enrich your devotional time! Sometimes I see parts of a hymn written in different books and I want to hear the rest of the song. I simply can type in those words and this app will not only show me the entire Hymn, but will also play the song for me to learn as well! Great idea! Thanks for the App!

Excellent resource
I found this app very useful. It is great for finding the hymn you want if you can only remember part of it. I am hoping that the UK Gospel Hymn Book will be available on this format too.

I was so glad to find this app! But for some reason the tunes won't play on my iPhone even though I have the Internet access... Ah well, it's worth it just to have the BHB wherever I go (though I'm sure everyone thinks I'm texting during meeting!)

It's a good and useful app. There are a few small glitches with it; the sound files don't seem to play and it has a problem getting the screen right when rotating.

The app seems to work great except for there seems to be music tunes included which do not work on my iPad.

This app has been created for multiple reasons: not to replace a physical hymn book but to enable singing on the go, learning of tunes, and searching of lyrics (for free). This first version appears to have a bug in audio playback, but I hope to have that fixed soon in the next release.
