All of a sudden get “ unable to authenticate 500” , have uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn’t work was working fine before

After reading reviews 3 years ago you still can’t be bothered fixing the issues or improving the app… And you wonder why we are doing trades on other platforms..

Despite biometric ID you’re forced to regurgitate your logon password all the time, then when you finally get through to trade time there are more pins required, hopelessly over the top security keeps no-one safe just frustrates the legitimate user

No other financial institution does this. Frustrating to the point I’ll look at alternatives

Limited functionality
App is lacking compared to other options out there. For example there does not seem to be any way to deposit or withdraw funding from my cash account using the app.
Face ID does not work
Awful login. I have to enter username and password in full every time I go into the app even if within a few hours of last login. I’ve enabled Face ID it worked once then reverted to making me login every time. So I deleted and reinstalled the app, Face ID worked another 1-2 times and then stopped working again. Please sort it out it’s very frustrating for an app I check every day at least.

Constant need for logging in
Are you ever going to fix the constant need to log in again, please? No support for Face ID? Seriously! The app is not bad and quite functional but extremely buggy if you need to enter your login details every few days, I honestly don’t get it.
What I’d like to see is the market depth too, a feature available in the browser version. Otherwise it’s great.

Useful app for daily checks of your investment portfolio
But why the heck do we need to re-authenticate every few days? Why can’t it store the login information? Why can’t the Face ID work reliably? I honestly don’t understand what’s so difficult about it. Please fix it as it makes the app very user unfriendly and frustrating.

I also find it extremely irritating to constantly be required to input email and password when faceid works for my other financial apps.
The app gives the main functionality of the website and the user interface is quite logical and easy to follow. There are a few features that are not available, such as today’s trades and setting alerts. But I can check my portfolio and buy and sell shares easily.

Perfect for checking in on the folio, trading is smooth
This is a good approach for a mobile app for a platform like Bell Direct, I don’t need all the info I can get in the desktop view, but it’s presented simply and cleanly so I can see what I need. Trading is straightforward, I can manage my watch lists.

Need to re-authenticate after every release
I find the app useful for checking my holdings. However what is annoying is the requirement to re- authenticate by putting in login and password details every time after a release. In addition have to reset Face ID each time. Why can’t the app behave like other banking app where credentials are entered on download and once a Face ID or pin is set the user can log into the app using the feature that they have selected all the time regardless of whether there has been a new release.

App works great, clear and easy to use, nice and fast.
Been with Bell Direct for about a decade and I much prefer this app to the website for clarity and ease of use.

Unable to login
The issues reported last month have not yet been fixed. These are about an inability to login due to bugs in the opening screen.
I would give Zero stars if that was possible.
