Poor Connection

I wear Bernadine hearing Aids, I’m deaf without the aids. The Benetton constantly drops out disconnecting my hearing aids. It’s really hard when I can’t hear people on the phone, the sound is also not good for the other person on the phone, they say they can’t hear me. I’m disappointed as I have to have fully functioning hearing aids for everyday conversation. Please tell me what to do. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled several times. Chris Morrow

They work great !

They do everything they say.
Just sucks none of y insurance providers cover hearing coverage.
Not even the city of Kingston benefits program. Or sun life long term disability insurance, or CPP.
Not even batteries.

Intérêt ?

Perso je vois pas bien l’intérêt de cette appli. Aucun accès direct et rapide aux fonctionnalités, des gadgets.

Needs 3 upgrades

1.When using the tv box, the volume always goes back to it’s high volume, it should stay where I set it.
2.The app takes too long to load and then to find the hearing aids, most of the time you have to open and close the battery door for the app to find them!
3.It is very inaccurate when it comes to the percentage of the battery level. Sometimes after putting a new battery, it shows 80%! Sad.

Katastrophe

Also die neue App muss dringend überarbeitet werden… Oder gebt uns die alte App wieder zurück die war super ohne langes warten auf Verbindungen oder sonstiges …. Die neue dauert ewig und ist sehr langsam und hängt sich häufig auf.
Auch mit dem verbinden klappt nicht ständig, oder dann nur ein Gerät und und und …. Und nein ich habe kein altes Handy , ( iPhone 17 Pro ) alles auf dem aktuellen Stand

Poor volume control when raising and lowering

You can set the volume control on the phone app to your surroundings.
But when you have to change the volume on your hearing aid the right and left aids change from your original settings for left and right and make them the same volume. This is no good! Also when you change programs from the aid, the left and right volumes both go to the same volume, not what was preset. This is no good for you have to use the phone app to reset your individual volumes.
I sent email to bernafon and never got a reply.
NO RESPECT for
CONSUMER!

I’m finding your app intermittent and annoying. It seems to have happened fairly recently like in the last couple of months. I rely on the app for hearing so much as I attend lots of meetings and often am unable to adjust them so I can hear. It’s very disappointing. I’m hoping you can do something about it.

Lautstärken Regelung von Umgebungsgeräusche Reduzierung funktioniert nicht mit TV Adapter

Wenn der Ton über das Bernafon TV Modul gestreamt wird, kann man zwar über das App auf Tv stellen dan wird der Ton auch rechts und links gestreamt es werden auch zwei Schieber angezeigt aber die Lautstärken Regelung funktioniert nicht.

Es wäre schön wenn man die Reihenfolge (Anzeige in der App) der Programme selber einstellen oder zumindest über den Akustiker einstellen lassen könnte.

New app

Is not backward compatible! I have to replace my seven year old hearing aid that works perfectly!

App ist sehr unkomfortabel

Leider ist mit Löschung der alten App ein sehr unkomfortables Handling mit der aktuellen App verbunden.
Die Kommunikation muss jeden Tag neu gestartet werden, obwohl das Mobiltelefon nicht ausgeschaltet wird. Dann dauert der Verbindungssufbau lange, viel länger als bei der alten App.

Needs work.

App has to constantly reconnect to the hearing aids. That takes less than 30sec but feels like forever, and the background when u go to adjust your aids is a harsh bright white screen that interrupts any moment.

App not working properly

The latest update is erratic. It loses its connection, changes the setting and is driving me nuts. I have deleted and reloaded the app but that does not work for long. Don’t use it if you can.
New update. After several more deletes and reinstalls along with changing batteries twice the app finally settled down and worked properly. I will give it one more star.

Lacks precision Crude

The first thing is battery life indication. A joke. One day it says 70% then 24 hours later it’s 100% and the day after 20%. Not accurate.

Next … you have a frequency equaliser for streaming but not for normal use … why ? If the facility is there then why can’t you adjust for normal listening?

It is very basic. The only worthwhile functions are controlled left / right balance and the find me thing which is slow and sticky but works if you are sensible and patient.
