Multiplayer disconnecting
My wife and I love this game and play often.
The one downside is the disconnects. They happen too often and spoil the fun.
Tonight was especially frustrating. We played for a couple of hours and never completed a single 100 point series.
We just gave up for the night.
Over the past I have sent several emails to the feedback support team for help. They respond every time saying they got my email and working on it but the disconnects continue.
I’m disappointed … can you fix this?

Don’t like the knocking part
Don’t like the knocking part of his game everybody keeps on knocking and I win. They won’t even play out to play gin it’s stupid get rid of the knocking part.
No multiplayer
We played once. Now it immediately says the other player disconnected on both of our devices. Every time

Had some flaws in one of the latest releases, but the Team worked hard to address them and the game works great now!!!
Cannot open menu!!!!
Idiots changed game so you have to Continue even if you just want to open menu for a new game!

Great Improvements to the Rookie Player
I've been playing this game for quite some time. After a recent update, the Rookie AI became surprisingly tough, making it very difficult for beginners like me to win a game.
The latest 9.0 update has nicely addressed this issue. The Rookie player now feels like a true beginner-level opponent, which makes the game much more enjoyable and less frustrating for casual players.
I can play more games, improve my skills, 7and win more often, just like before. Thanks to the team and making the Rookie level fun and accessible again!

I would give it a five star rating if I didn’t have to exit and come back in at the end of a game once you win, you can’t just continue with the next series

Huge multiplayer improvements
I’ve been enjoying Best Gin Rummy for more than 10 years and still play it every day. It remains my favorite Gin Rummy app thanks to its smooth gameplay, polished animations, and pleasant sound effects that make every game enjoyable.
One thing I really appreciate is the thoughtful design. The interface is comfortable to use, even during long playing sessions. The cards, buttons, and layout are well positioned, making gameplay effortless without causing finger strain or fatigue.
I primarily play multiplayer games with friends, and the latest 9.0 release is a major improvement. The new invitation system is fantastic. Being able to accept game invitations from anywhere in the app makes connecting with friends much easier and more convenient than before.
The biggest improvement, however, is multiplayer stability. In previous versions, we occasionally experienced disconnections during games. Since updating to version 9.0, my friend and I have played multiple games back-to-back without a single disconnect or connection issue. The multiplayer experience now feels seamless, reliable, and polished.
This update represents a huge step forward for an already excellent game. Kudos to the development team for listening to player feedback and continuously improving the experience. Highly recommended for both casual players and serious Gin Rummy fans!

Bad!
Has flaws that are not addressed! No updates to correct! If I win, the game just keeps going beyond the 7th hand! If computer wins at 7 hands, game is over. Game is over at 7th hand if I am ahead until 7 hand, if computer wins last hand, even if I’m ahead! Bad!!!
Revert please
The game changed on its own from Best Gin Rummy to Straight. How do I change it back?

If you like playing a computer that gives itself the exact cards they need and gives you nothing, go right ahead. Ridiculous

I used to love this game. The last update ruined it! It cheats horribly! Programmers should be fired for ruining this game!😡😡

The last update completely ruined this app. All movements are extremely jerky and hard on the eyes. And all deals have gotten so quick to end. I went through a lot of Gin apps before I found yours. It was the first one that had great flow and didn’t always end quickly. The name of the game is Gin not Knock!

Have been trying to play again but still the iPad plays to Knock and not gin. I hate that! When I stated playing your game years ago I had already tried many gin games and yours was the only one that played until gin but after your last update it is just like the others! Hate it!!!

It’s a curated simulation of a game
The previous version was a bit too easy, so instead of improving the computer opponent, you curated the deal (clearly it’s not random) and occasionally “peeked” at the player’s hand. Moving on to a different implementation of gin rummy that’s an actual game.
Question
Sometimes I have under 10in deadwood but the knock button doesn’t appear. Why?

So I had to delete another rummy game as it was clearly bent - dozens of online reviews saying just that. I then found this game and was happy, I won more than I lost.

Don’t like the last update
I have played this game for years and always enjoyed it. The latest update fixed it so that you rarely win. The AI wins and wins fast. No longer the same fun game. I’m done.
