They Should Do Better
I downloaded this app after reading the first few chapters of one “novel” on a social media app. I kept reading, kept watching ads to unlock every single chapter. It was extremely annoying, but I could deal with it. After about 50 chapters, it began to require watching TWO ads to unlock every chapter, which is ridiculous. It took me the same amount of time to read the chapter as it did to watch the ads! I kept reading, just wanting to finish the book. I kept checking the contents to see how many chapters were left. Every time I thought I was getting to the end, it showed even more chapters. I finally just closed it out and deleted the app. The story itself wasn’t bad (aside from being pretty unbelievable) but it was clearly designed to just keep you engaged but keep drawing out the conclusion just to keep you watching the ads. If anything, you should be rewarded by fewer ads the longer you read. No more for me, no thanks. Huge waste of time when all I wanted to do was read one semi decent story. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Но почему при прочтении новой главы на каждой новой странице загружается реклама автоматически ???
Так же при чтении перелистывая прочтенную страницу , все страницы в главе одновременно перелистываются. Приходится выходить из приложения и заходить по новой.

What’s going on?
This latest update is not an improvement! Ads are appearing in the middle of chapters - and is my story no longer free to read? Some of the ads (read 2 articles) didn’t work, and maybe that was fixed. While this story (“I Bought a Husband”) is better than most, it has some crazy errors. (Hailey falls asleep exhausted in her apartment, but all of a sudden she is in a cab on her way to the family home? The car buying was ridiculous. The red car suddenly became silver? Julian was present for the family meltdown but then has to ask her what happened?) I was enjoying this because it is better written than the annoying, repetitive AI stuff, so I hope there is improvement coming.

I hate that the chapters are only 3-4 pages so unless you purchase their books at $99 you have to watch ads after ads after ads. I also have an issue with the fact that no matter how bright I need my screen to be it changes it back to very dim every single time. I don’t have that issue with any other app.

Gets Stuck A LOT
For “free” reading it requires reading LOTS of ads. Lately unable to read because it won’t recognize I’ve read an “ article”. Have tried several phone resets and waiting long periods to retry, but no success. Will probably delete app as it’s pretty frustrating.

Not free and the ads won’t proceed. Cost is really too high for the books you can get on other lower cost apps. A joke.

But if I could give half a star, I would. I caught a virus from downloading this. My phone was in the shop for over two weeks. Furthermore, you can’t get out of the ads. Everything there’s always a glitch. Hence the viruses. Do not download this. Do not download this. Do not download this. Do not download this. Instead, download real shorts or vibe shorts and get your stuff from Audible no viruses.

Watch ad every time I turn the page
I enjoyed this app for a while until they started making me watch an ad after each page. Yes you read that right. Every time I turn the page an ad pops up. Previously it was after each chapter, which I could live with but after every page that’s ridiculous! But if you don’t mind reading/watching ads after every page then by all means, read on!

Fix the article option
Chapters are extremely short, ads are long, articles don’t work. It won’t refresh for a different option so you’re stuck trying to figure out the secret to getting the app to recognize the article was read.
The app is ok, but…
The coins/points system doesn’t make much sense. I’ve been trying to read one story and I watch ad videos to get more chapters, but after a few chapters I just get a message saying “updating” and I have to wait until the next day for more chapters to become available.

I absolutely love this app! It’s nice to be able to read on the go but not have to worry about keeping up with an actual book.
My only issue is having to watch so many videos in order to unlock only 1 or 2 chapters. It’s very time consuming. The app would be much more efficient and enjoyable without this design flaw. Thank you.

Love it just started using it and much better than other apps I’ve used in the past that I’ve had to purchase coins just after the first chapter
Multiple adds that don’t work
Add over book pages that you can’t remove. Would give .5 to 0 review if possible. Soon as I finish book this is history.
You are kidding me!
I really liked the book I was reading. I read 540 chapters, suffering through all the adds. And then, just when I thought everything was going to resolve, one of the main characters was kidnapped and that’s it. No more chapters. I can’t believe it! Well, if they think I would spend time on a new book, they’ve got another think coming.

I gave this app a fair chance because I enjoy reading, but it quickly became one of the most expensive and frustrating reading experiences I’ve had.
The business model encourages stories to be stretched far beyond what they need to be. Instead of paying a reasonable price for a novel, you’re either locked into a subscription that’s difficult to cancel or forced to unlock chapters individually. By the time you finish a single story, you’ve often spent many times what you would have paid for a professionally published ebook.
What finally pushed me to leave this review is that the app doesn’t accurately represent how much of a story is left. More than once, I thought I was approaching the end, only to discover I wasn’t even halfway through. That creates pressure to keep spending because you’ve already invested so much time and money. It feels misleading.
The quality of the writing is another major issue. Many stories read as though they were never properly edited. Characters contradict themselves, major conversations seem to be forgotten a chapter later, living situations and important details suddenly change without explanation, and dramatic events are reversed almost immediately. Whether that’s because the stories are AI-generated, AI-assisted, or simply poorly edited, I can’t say—but the end result is the same: inconsistent storytelling that often feels artificially prolonged to maximize revenue rather than tell a good story.
If you enjoy reading novels, you’ll get far better value buying ebooks from Amazon, Kobo, or your local library’s digital collection. You’ll spend less, get a complete, professionally edited story, and avoid feeling nickel-and-dimed every few pages.
I won’t be using this app again.
