Can’t update

Update: developer said to uninstall and reinstall the app, that does not work and you are still stuck in the update horse but it takes you to Sportsbook. Went with dark horse. Keep saying I need to update the app and when I click on it, I go to the App Store and the only option is to open the app, there is no update. Guess I’ll delete it since I can’t login and place a horse bet.

App glitch

Upon installing and opening the app it states:
“Important Update
A new version of this app is available.
Please download it from the App Store.
New Version
• New games available
• More improvements and bug fixes”

But clicking the Download Update button goes to the BetMGM Sportsbook App instead which is already at the latest version!!??

App says there is an update available and I can’t open the app but the App Store shows no update and only option to open the app and again the app says update available. Even uninstalled and reinstalled and get same error…

Downloaded this app to bet on horses. Open the app and it tells me an update is needed. The update installs MGM Sportsbook where it’s not possible to bet on horses. Dumb.

Updates are very Problematic

Every single time this company makes an update you’re screwed. Their offshore Indian developers make a mess of things every time. The latest is a forced update on horse racing that launches sports betting. It won’t allow me to move ahead on horse racing without sports which I can’t do in my state. I have a lot of money in my account which I cannot access. Be very wary of this app.

Won’t stay logged in

The app will let you login and then immediately logged you back out and I can’t get my money off

MGM is going down

Amazing a big gigantic corporation, but the app is just terrible. There’s no update in it and keep freeze and wasting my time I went to Las Vegas hotel MGM got into a room on the 19th floor and India smell a suit issue asked to change the room they say I can’t because it’s already all done Non deal. It’s sad to see MGM going downhill likeuse to be one Of my favorite. Sadly, I sold the stock as well. That’s how I feel like the stock kept falling down everything falling down it just sad.

Locked out

Avoid using this app. I downloaded the app then made a deposit. I’ve been locked out and unable to make a withdrawal. Emailing tech support is useless, they will not try to resolve the issue, instead just respond with boilerplate garbage. Calling on the phone is no help. Those people are inexperienced and only tell you to send an email stating your issue. MGM will not attempt to resolve the issue and they ignore my request for a withdrawal. Use a different app.

Not as clean and functional as others

I wanted to like this. I really did. I haven’t enjoyed TVGs offering since FanDuel took over, and MGM has always been good for other stuff - but this just always feels clunky.

It’s a wrap around the NYRA Bets platform and it just isn’t as crisp and functional as other offerings. Sometimes when you’re scrolling tracks, the window won’t scroll right and you’ve got to tap in the right spot to get it to scroll - sometimes it just hangs…

It’s fine, but there’s better options for Horse Betting.

Stole my money.

There have been two occasions where this app has stolen money from me and it gets escalated to the relevant care team to no avail. I recently won a race that would’ve paid me $725 but the money was never deposited in my account. Overall I’m down about $1325 due to the app stealing my money and not depositing winnings into my racing account. I would never use this app and I really hope someone fixes my issue before I have to pursue legal action

I had a winning trifecta tried to play Tampa Downs the app said I’m in a different country can’t bet and get this I’m in Florida 1 hour from Tampa Downs very disappointing cost me a hundred

Worst racing app ever may be scam

I deposited money over twenty four almost 36 hours ago and first off I still haven’t received when I do I will change but there 24/7 customer service is untrue then whoever does answer only before 5pm est they are outsourced in some other country literally just now hung up with me my opinion this is scam and may not actually be mgm

Much Better Options

Any horse racing app (TwinSpires, TVG, DRF) is better than this one. Won’t allow you to cancel a bet even if the horse scratches and the interface is clunky.

Online sports betting is legal in my state, but not a single app to do it.

Horse player

Fairly easy to use and navigate does have some bugs need to be worked out. App will randomly kick you off for no reason then ur forced to sign back in. Occasionally when signing on it will immediately sign u off only way to fix it is to delete the app and to download it again. Other then this app is great.
