I was at a friend’s wedding this weekend and they had Betting on the Wedding set up for everyone. It was really easy to join and ended up being way more fun than I expected. Our whole group kept checking the questions and comparing picks throughout the night. Such a great idea for a wedding.

We used the betting on the wedding app for our wedding last month and it was so much fun for our guests! We set up a $20 buy-in with a winner-takes-all prize, and our guests absolutely loved it. It had everyone engaged from the moment they arrived until the end of the night. Guests placed bets on fun wedding moments like whether the groom would cry when he saw me walk down the aisle, whether there would be a garter toss, who would give the longest speech, and so much more.
The live leaderboard added a fun, competitive element and had everyone constantly checking their standings throughout the night. It created conversations between guests who had never met and gave everyone something extra to look forward to during the wedding.

My wife and I had talked about doing something like this for the wedding, and we ended up downloading this app the day before - I’ve got to say, this was so much more fun than we were expecting. The number of our friends who came up to me complaining that I busted their bet was hysterical. Just such a unique way to add to the fun of it all. We set ours up as a 20-bet highest scores takes the pot system mostly for the simplicity of it. The only note I’d have for the developers is for these types of bets, where the users pledge a buy-in for the pot, they should be required to add the buy-in upon joining the event so that way the winner isn’t waiting on other people to finally submit the payment afterwards.

I’m not sure how we even stumbled upon this app, but we are so excited to use it for our upcoming wedding! It is easy to get started, with fun bet prompts to get you thinking about different ideas. I will report back after the wedding to share the guest experience and outcomes!
Best Wedding Game!
Betting on the Wedding was such a hit with our guests. They talked about all night and there might have even been some arguments about whether or not my groom actually cried 🤣 Highly recommend!!

We loved the idea of Betting on the Wedding, and we truly enjoyed having our guests play along! The only thing that could have improved our experience would have been is the ability to pay within the app or have better directions for guests when it came time to pay. Since our event, the app has updated to fix this concern! Would 10/10 recommend to add some unique functionality to your big day!!

Fun for everyone
Definitely worth it. My friends and family had a blast with this. It was fun to see who knew us best based on the different custom bets we made. Everyone who participated said they really liked how it worked. The support is also fantastic. They got back so timely and even were super receptive when I gave some criticism when they changed from their original model of betting. Overall wonderful experience and I recommend anyone looking to add a lil something something to go with them.
