Deceptive and Expensive
I do not normally review apps but my experience with this one is so bad I feel compelled to do so. When I bought a watch on the app I was confronted with multiple surprise fees that made the watch much more expensive than I was expecting to pay because the bidding page does not disclose them when you submit your bid. Grailzee does a much better job of this and its fees are much lower. I could not back out when these fees were revealed because I would then be penalized.
I recently put a watch for auction and the experience was terrible. The watch “sold” for $2,750 and I kept waiting for the buyer to close the sale which never came. After I sent 3 messages seeking an update, they disclosed that Bezel actually made the bid without any indication on the bid itself that it was Bezel. They refused to honor their bid and were unwilling to waive their fees for me to sell it to the next lowest bidder. Now I’ve wasted a week on a fake auction. I’ll never use them again. And if you’re bidding on the site, be aware that you might just be bidding against Bezel and not someone actually interested in the watch and the prices that you see may not reflect the actual market.

No longer functional
This app was great until I purchased the new iPhone 18 and updated the software. Now I can’t even login. Spinning perpetual calendar of death. I tried support and received zero effort on their part to solve their issue.

The platforms
While Bezel has plenty of watches available the prices are higher than on other platforms. There is also now way to offer bids on watches that don’t meet reserve price. Also no way to make comments or ask seller questions. I lime the quantity of watches available on Bezel but like the platform on Grailzee so much better.

Skeptical/Possible Fraudulant
I’ve had 2 attempts at purchasing a watch from Bezel:
1. I attempted to purchase a watch and received no response for several days. After talking to support, it turned out the watch had already been sold and was no longer for purchase.
2. I bid on an auction. This is where I’m suspicious of this app/company. I made a bid, and was immediately informed I was outbid. I made a second bid and was immediately informed I was out bid. I thought that’s off, there were no new bids for 8 hours on this watch but when I bid twice in 5 minutes - there was suddenly more bids. So I tried a third time, and sure enough, immediately outbid.
I don’t trust this place and once I received my bid deposit back I’m deleting the app. Scammers
