I’ve found one good friend on this app but the new version’s profile set up and adding photos is annoying now and it makes you verify photos now too?? This isn’t a dating app…dev replied saying they’re aware it’s an annoying extra step to keep the community safe and make sure there’s a face behind every profile?? How about using my DOB you made me add too or literally anything else. Probably for using my data to send me spam smh

Outside the USA… doesn’t work
I have used bumble bff in 3 different countries and have usually had a good experience. I know the app was going through updates but it’s been months and months that it’s not been available outside the US.

couldnt even make a profile because the app was so exhausting to deal with. constantly freezing, and would only unfreeze when id close the app, but then i'd have to start the profile making process over. got so frustrated i deleted it i guess i'll make friends the old fashioned way
Terrible app
I’m on day one and posted a picture of frogs in a group chat about Costa Rica and I get a warning for inappropriate content. I’m not accepting the violation warning out of principle since I’m not being told what violation I committed.
Why did they change the interface
Absolutely awful and not user friendly. I appreciate them trying to innovate but this is not it.
AI is stopping image upload
Literally anytime I try to add photos the AI can't find a face. What a ridiculous way to set up the app. Adding AI to it is completely useless and I'm deleting it since I literally can't create a profile
Used to work in the EU now it doesn’t
I didn’t know it was possible for a company to make a decision so stupid but here we are. I’m genuinely impressed. Used to be my go to app for meeting people
Buggy
This app has wasted more of my time than I can count. I’m trying to add photos to my profile to create the account and it won’t let me add the photos. It’s one of me swimming with a whale shark, another of me paddling a raft on a river in Jamaica, and a few face pics at different travel destinations. It tells me that no face is detected in the ones of me swimming and paddling. No duh. Let me add them!!! I can’t even exit out. Twice now I’ve had to exit the app, re-enter, re-select the pics, only for it to stop me in my tracks.

App Crashes on Launch
The app won't open at all. Every time I tap it, it flashes to a white screen for a second, then crashes and sends me back to my home screen. I've tried multiple times with the same result, making the app completely unusable. Hoping this gets fixed soon.
Wouldn’t Know
Can’t even try it out since it won’t let me add any photos and without photos you cannot complete your profile. I’ve tried even taking a photo with camera instead and it still will not upload it. I won’t be messaging some help support link just to find friends. I’ll just try a different app. Many many reviews have errors just creating the profile, sounds like the app needs some bug updates.

Can’t create account
I tried multiple times and date to create an account. The code from my number never works and on the app it keeps grouping into three digits xxx-xxx. I tried to submit a request, but all the drop-down keep going to ask about a payment or are super confusing.

Only Shows Friends of the Same Gender
I was very disappointed after spending 50,000 years signing up for this stupid app that it only shows you friends of the same gender. I’m a man who’s historically had friends that are women- I don’t really get along with other men. The three men in my area on the app were looking for “hunting or fishing buddies” so I immediately deleted this app, and also the Bumble dating app. This is some backasswards BS. Not to mention, you can’t even write anything about yourself, you can only “tag” the things you like. 60 thumbs down.

Why is this so glitchy?
My boyfriend got this app and it put his photos sideways and cut his head off. I got this app and it won’t even let me upload photos cause when I pick a a picture it won’t let me click on the add, choose a different photo, or x button. It just freezes.
Bug that prevents uploading photos
Great concept, but there is currently a bug that is making this app unusable — I tried to upload photos four different times but the app kept freezing and required me to restart every time. I finally got frustrated enough that I gave up.
Arbitrary Account Warnings
I had a photo prompt to share my nature photography hobby. They gave me an account warning and removed one of the photos and said if it happened again my account would be banned. If what happened again? It was a photo of a bird.
Apparently unwanted??
I’ve been trying to sign up for the past 20 minutes?? All I want is for them to send the code to my number so that I can create an account and what do you mean they’re having me solve puzzles for almost 20 minutes to try and get this stupid code?? me sending my number and receiving a code should take 30 seconds max. Unbelievable.
