IF YOU’RE STRAIGHT, DO NOT DOWNLOAD
90% of men on this app either admit to being gay in their bio or belong to a gay group. Due to the overwhelming volume of gay men with questionable intentions adding me, I put in my bio, NO GAYS OR TRANS ADDS PLEASE. This stopped all adds and worked too well as a filter… because virtually all the straight men have been scared off. Now they removed my bio and said I violated their terms simply for having a filter.
I just want a friend that I’m not going to have to worry about their intentions, and I have freedom of speech and association. This app has actively chosen not to combat that this is being used like Grindr by gays who want to feel discreet or who hope to somehow catch a straight man. It’s not even a secret that it is broken for straight men to use without 98% of the activity they encounter will be some guy wanting to plow them. How am I supposed to avoid the disgusting likes from all the gays if I’m not allowed to have a filter in my bio.

You can’t even get in some groups without being denied smh
App needs serious updating
I have to agree that the old app was better. I really miss when it was still integrated with Bumble. It was just much easier to navigate and now there are technical issues. Do better. It’s unfortunate because I’m at that stage in life where I’d like to use BFF more but it won’t even let me back in.
