Bloated app. Never clears cache
This app install is terribly managed it has ballooned to 6gb. There is no need for this much local data to be stored for an app like this that’s constantly streaming.
UX is clearly a money grab
They try to get you to upgrade every chance they can. Back button takes you so far back you have to look at the upsell again and again and again.
Search is useless
Trying to find local hiking and dog groups in meetups. Set filters to in person and within 25 miles. Typed in what I was looking for. Got everything but and most were online and a lot were 150 miles away. Set my location and made sure it was on. Waste of time trying to find local groups.
Urgent kinda
Been days now can’t login with Apple id did hard reset cache clear turn off vpn none of that works tried phone Apple browser and meetup app download the Apple ID uses my face and now my eyes tried number password to Apple ID too turned off private relay couldn’t try through cellular cause it didn’t show in cellular in settings app turned off internet advanced security

Great but the scams
I love this app and use it often. It’s a great tool to take an idea and bring it to life with an audience or a others who want to join in. But the amount of scammers with “now hiring” posts is out of control. I click “report” and nothing happens. I end up blocking that account. I wish the developers would address these fake accounts with keywords or whatever you do. It’s taking away from the good of the app.
