User reviews

All in German?

I've tried to download this app a couple of times, but each time it has been entirely in German. The concept of this app is great, so if there's any way to fix this, please let me know so I can actually try app and update this review!

Response from developer

Hi! You can switch the app language anytime in Settings inside the app — we’d love for you to try again!

Free trial

They offer a 3 day free trial, which isn’t bad but also very short. However, while using the free trial it mentions that you will be notified a day before it ends before they charge you card; but they did not notify me not through text or email. In-fact instead of notifying me they charged me while my free trial was going, before I even fully decided if I wanted to spend $30 every month on an app. I will say the app is good for starting a habit but the price, and the communication, and the settings on the app need improvement and I don’t think the app is truly worth the price and if you want to start a habit just make a routine and plan things for yourself. Furthermore,I was trying to cancel on the app but they don’t even have actual settings for a help/info setting.

awesome app

This app is amazing way more features than I thought. I like how it keeps my focus and puts me in the right path and direction of God.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We’re grateful Bible Lock is helping you stay focused and grow closer to God. Your support means a lot to us! 🙏

Passcode

Bro I downloaded the app it ask me a question what apps do you want to lock I pick them then its
asking for a subscription 😭 I thought it was free turns out it is not and I try to delete it talking about I need a screen time passcode please provide me with a code so I can’t delete the app

Response from developer

Bible Lock does not create, store, or have access to your Apple Screen Time passcode. That code is managed privately by iOS on your device. If your iPhone is asking for a Screen Time passcode when deleting apps, that comes from your device’s Screen Time settings, not from Bible Lock.

Can’t add as widget

It’s not allowing me to add this as a widget on the iPhone, as the instructions said to do.

Response from developer

Sorry for the confusion. The Bible Lock widget is working for iPhone users, but Apple’s widget list can sometimes take a moment to refresh after a new app is installed. Opening the app once, restarting the iPhone, and then adding the widget again usually fixes it. We’re continuing to make the setup instructions clearer so this is easier for everyone.
