The end of YouVersion…
Additionally, there are no pop-ups, weird Bible study/devotionals, and just overall less unnecessary stuff.
The cross-reference system is perfect! The UI is pretty solid and page navigation is nice.
The only things I look forward to being updated are:
- having more font options
- being able to delete NIV and not have it be the default, maybe something more dignified like NKJV or ESV ;)
- more audio bible options
Thank you to the creator! May the Lord bless you!
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Our goal was to create a bible app with just great access to the bible without any noise. It is very encouraging to hear that you appreciate that. Just wanted to clarify that you can delete the NIV if you make sure that the NIV is not the selected bible on any of the tabs. Also, when you open a new tab it should default to the bible version that you were most recently using. And yes, more font options will be coming. God bless you and your household.
The best

Thank you! We really appreciate that. Our goal with BibleOne is to keep the focus on Scripture while providing a clean, simple, and distraction-free reading experience.
Basically Beta
Response from developer
Thank you for the honest feedback. We’re sorry the current reading experience made Scripture feel harder to navigate rather than easier. The issues you pointed out—typography, mixed italics, the notes interaction, and especially the dropdown unexpectedly moving you to the top—are all valid UX concerns. Feedback like this helps us identify where the experience needs work.
Great User Interface and Quick Translation Comparison
Response from developer
Thanks so much for the feedback! We're thrilled that the word search and multi-tab features are making your Bible study easier. And yes, the ESV translation will be available in the app soon.
