Terrible app - not user friendly at all!
I have tried and tried to use this app but I just can’t. I have updated it, deleted it and reinstalled it 5 times with no improvement. Once adding my photos it rotates and locks my screen horizontal and I can’t proceed to checkout… or do anything else for that matter. I can’t even return to the products/continue shopping. The layout on my phone becomes skewed and unusable. I also hate that there’s no preview option when trying to create a canvas. Don’t even start me on trying to make a photo book. Biggest headache ever!

This app is awful
I never review apps, this is my first time ever. I just automatically assume they’ll work okay and if they don’t whatever no big deal it’s normally not too much of an inconvenience. I feel this way about mygov apps which are rather annoying but deliver the job they’re meant to. THIS APP HOWEVER, It is absolute garbage. It’s enough to make me go else where for photos. If you select an image, it automatically rotates your app screen even if you have the rotate lock on. Then when you go back because the imagine you selected doesn’t work for a product, say a mug for example because they wrap all awkwardly, it screws the whole app up and you have to close it and restart it. So inconvenient. I’ve tried 7 times to make a friggin mug. I JUST WANT A MUG BIG W.

Good app with room for improvement
I recently purchased from the app and it was easy to do, except a few things would make it and the process better.
1. Ability to see the details (picture used item purchased) of the order in the “Orders” section. I purchased something twice because I couldn’t remember if I previously purchased it.
2. The quality of photos should be easier to see/understand. They look just fine on the phone but still allows them to be selected even though the quality will be bad and you have to start all over. Can be really frustrating.
3. When the update of the order says received by store and ready for pick up, it’s not exactly true. You then need to wait for an email from the store before picking up. Took me 2 attempts to pick up my order. The app should be real time for BIGW not Fuji status because as a customer how do we know we are waiting for email as well. I’m sure you could save the email time if you’re app was up dated with BIGW processing so we would know it was ready in store for pick up and not waste multiple trips.
4. Ability to let the store know you’re on your way so they can have the item ready and not go and hunt for it out back while we wait at the counter with a queue of people behind us groaning because it takes so long. Like the direct to boot click and collect.

Basic but reliable
Every year we order calendars through this app, it is easy to save previous work, is always reliable with timely delivery. The quality of the calendars are great matte finish, the spiral binding lasts, bright colours and easy to follow prompts to create a personalised gift to self or others. They could include more text features and styles.l design wise. Easy to write on and use as a family calendar.

Brilliant
Great experience all round - have purchased a calendar, mug, small photo book, keyrings and prints. Took a little bit to work out how to use the app to get book layouts how I wanted, but once I got the hang of it, easy to use. Fast turn around, always been ready for pick up faster then expected. Very happy with quality!

Great service from my iPhone. Easy to use and manipulate to choose own photos or their selection. Good quality photos and super specials. Prompt and efficient service pickup or delivery. I would have liked to order 20 more calendars from my original design but that option was not available on the iPhone. 🙌🏻

Waste of time and no support for app
I’ve used Big W online photos for years on my computer make calendars and photo books and thought I would give the App a try as it was easier to add photos from my phone. The app itself was not very user friendly but I persisted and spent hours making a photo book only to get to the processing and payment stage for it to crash. The page never redirects to PayPal which is the only way you can make payment. When I log into my account on my computer there’s no record of my book in my shopping cart so obviously the two don’t link up. My photo book is still in the cart on my app redirecting to PayPal after 3 days. Don’t bother trying to find contact details for support as the only thing I found was an online form to fill in and “someone will get back to me soon”. I’m not holding my breath. What a complete waste of time this was. I will never use this app or the Big online photo shop again. The lack of support for loyal customers is astounding. Don’t bother.

Payment not working
The application is not user friendly at all. It doesn’t let you choose more than 250 photos from your device. Then i had to choose from my device and upload rest of them to my account, uploading itself was awful.
I don’t want to crop my photos, then i have to select “don’t crop” option for each individual photo. At the end when it’s time to pay, redirecting to PayPal does not work at all. It’s loading forever! The perfect example of wasting of time.

New Photo Service
The new feature that Big W provide with making photos from any image is amazing. Any image you find can be turned into a photo. It is very inexpensive and takes no time to have your new photos created. Try it, you will not be disappointed. A huge thank you for this great service. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Brilliant quality & price
I am using this app to create photos for a photo gallery for my mother. The photos have been taken from an iPhone and blown up to 12” x 16” and I am very impressed with the quality given the original photo is such a low resolution. There are often sales so I stock up on my photos at that time and I’ve also printed out photos for my vision board at a very reasonable price. The app is very easy to use and intuitive.

Calendar for Christmas
I could not get a seat at other retail outlets to make a photo calendar, then remembers I had the Big W Photo app. Within minutes my photo calendar was complete. It was so easy to do in the privacy of my home. The calendar arrived is click and collect quickly, and well before Christmas- overall it was a positive experience.

Horrible app and print job
The app is not easy to use and It’s very difficult to see which direction the picture is orientated. For instance, if you want a horizontal picture, it’s difficult to tell if the app has it horizontal or vertical. Also, if you ordered different sizes, it’s difficult to tell what is what on the summary pages and then make necessary adjustments. Pictures were high quality from a photographer but the prints were unclear and disappointing. After a frustrating experience ordering both pick up in store and via post office, I won’t be wasting my time using Big W photo services in the future.

Big W offer a great service to order photo’s online, with pickup at your nominated store within around 10 days. I have used the service twice and both times I was very satisfied with the quality and price. It was very easy to place my order, what I received is what I ordered and the price was extremely good and competitive.

I have done many books of my holidays and used Big W and have been very happy with my books. I had a little trouble with one book but they were very helpful and all was fixed in no time

Perfect for printing photos for my frames
Easy to operate, auto adjusts image and then you can manually change them to fit how you like. Comes in different sizes. App always updates to run in store specials on canvas and photo books. Just make sure your images are good quality because if you are using a low quality image expect a low quality print.
Recently printed all our photos for or albums from this past year plus special photos we had done by a professional photographer. Easy to do and easy to fit into big w frames.

FAMILY PHOTO BOOKS
I have now made 6 different hard cover photo books up to 80 pages, some of holidays, some of the family from birth to marriage, etc. Am totally satisfied with the results. Takes ages but sure it’s due to my computer skills or lack thereof. Everyone has been thrilled with their books. Fantastic quality! Presently have another 80 page book underway - this of a recent trip to France for a WW1 ceremony.

Christmas shopping done and dusted!
Such a handy app. The way that it saves everything you do, as you do it made it so easy for me to click on and off it as I needed to without deleting any of my progress. I finished a good 90% of my Christmas shopping at all hours of the day and night while working around my kids.
I picked up my order from my local store today and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the products that I purchased. Very cheap too in comparison to some other custom photo printing places online.

Fantastic. Easy to use, Quick turnaround
Decided Sunday to order some large photo canvases of some amazing photos I took on our last holiday. Switzerland. The big w photo app is so easy to use. Placed the order for 7 large photo canvases on Sunday night at 6pm. Received and email midday Thursday (3 1/2 days later) that they were ready to pick up. The quality of these photo canvases are fantastic. I love the prices and the quality of the photo canvases. I keep going back. Been a happy customer of this app for the past 5 years. Will continue to use this app. Very happy customer. A+

Big W, Fujifilm photos online, easy to use!
I tried a couple of other companies online and gave up because they were not user friendly. I found Big W, Fujifilm photos online so easy to navigate that I have now used it 3 times in a couple of weeks. I would really recommend it. I have had photos printed off my IPad and my IPhone and travel bag tags made and a photo book. I am about to order more photos. I just do it in the comfort of my own home and pick up from my local Big W store when they email it is ready. Easy!

Problems with Photo books
Have created a photo book for Father’s Day through your app, but haven’t been able to actually purchase it once it was completed. I also wanted to personalise the book too which it hasn’t had the option to add, even though it’s advertised that it’s a personalised photo book. Do I need to go into store for them to add the personalisation and for me to be able to actually purchase it?
