The app doesn’t work at all. The opening map doesn’t load. The in app features don’t work. It’s like they started building an app and nothing worked and just put it on the App Store. I’d expect more out of Apple. Atleast open the app and make sure it works before you put it on the App Store menu.

It Isn’t Active I Guess
Purchased the app and it won’t open the map. I just get the death wheel and the app says “BigfootViewer retired”. I thought maybe it was an update in progress. Well, if it was it’s still in progress a few weeks later. Hope it’s operational again soon. But I’m not holding my breath.

Thought I’d check this app out, and what do you know after paying for it? It says it’s retired. Apple sure didn’t hurry to tell you years ago that this app is no longer available and yet takes your money. Hopefully you look through the reviews like I didn’t and see that you shouldn’t waste your money on this app or anything else from this developer.

Bought the app only to find the map has been retired and is no longer viewable… why is this app still here if it’s not usable. Even better why are they still charging for it! What a waste of 2 bucks…

This was a great resource to see, and post about everything Bigfoot. I paid for the APP, and today, I find Bigfoot Viewer has been retired! NO ACCESS!! Other than a place to report a sighting. I’d like to know why it was ‘retired’.

Currently crashes on iOS 17.x.x
Great database tool, thank you for the time put into this app to help people report and find sightings. Unfortunately, after upgrading to iOS 17 it crashes on me if I try to zoom in to much every time.

So I heard about this via the podcast Uncomfortable. When he said you could check out the missing people to the sightings I was so excited because after reading Missing 411 I kept wondering why nobody had done this yet.
I can’t figure out how to check that out so I’m a little bit bummed. Overall it’s a cool app to check the sightings though.

This app is a wealth of information! The best money that could spend if you’re into Bigfoot!
Revised review
The developer listened to the problem that I was having with the app and fixed it. The app’s zoom feature works much better now. I really like the map feature and the links to details of the encounters. This is a great tool for planning a Bigfoot hunt or to just learn about the reports across the United States. It is well worth the price.

Very neat to see the sightings in tour area!
I mainly purchased the app due to curiosity and to help the developer of the app. I ended up spending hours checking the areas around me and other areas near my family’s homes.
It was incredible to read eyewitness testimony and be able to see the hotspots. Very cool app! It’s just $1.99. Buy it, enjoy looking around, and support the great developers in their cause.

I LOVE this app. Comes with both a historical and crowdsourcing layer for Bigfoot sightings. Also allows me to track my live location and view Bigfoot sightings around me. This is the ultimate game changer in crypto field research.
