My family’s favorite app!
Love this
Not what I hoped
Response from developer
Hi! Wes here - thanks so much for the feedback! You’re right, we started as a history-centric app and are trying to expand outward. As a consequence to that, we have some historical markers / signs that are not that interesting (relatively speaking) - I’m actually actively working on removing a bunch of those! There are two maps in ExploreHere; one for exploring and browsing, and the other as part of our hands-free travel mode, which was meant to be used passively while driving. You should be able to move around and zoom in/out and find markers in the explore map, but you’re right I “lock” the travel map in for hands free auto play markers as drive. Perhaps I should make it so you can still browse around to get a sneak peak as to what’s ahead! Anyways, all that to say - I’m really sorry about the bad experience, I’m working on fixing most of these things so stay tuned and I hope you’ll give the app another chance in the future!
No good
Your app truly makes a difference!
It really hit home for me. My father-in-law (who has passed) was a POW in the Bataan Death March during WWII and earned three Purple Hearts. I didn’t see his name on the memorial, which surprised me since he lived here in San Antonio. My husband is going to call tomorrow to find out more about how the bricks work.
Just wanted you to know — your app truly makes a difference. It connects people to places and stories that matter. Thank you for creating something so meaningful.
