It hasn’t worked yet

This will be a great app but it hasn’t worked for me yet and it doesn’t let me submit a problem to the developers. Once it works I think it will be great.

It’s just ok

Could be a lot better. Most of the locations are just places where virtually unknown people lived at one time or another. I live in a very historic city and it’s missing a lot of historical markers. Plus, it really doesn’t give you much information about them. Definitely needs work.

Not Worth the Trouble

Not worth the trouble of downloading, skipping past all the questions & subscription offers. The highlighted things to “explore” are not worth the trouble to find. So many mistakes with wrong pin locations and wrong photos.

My family’s favorite app!

I love asking people what their favorite app is on their smart phone. It’s a great conversation starter, but it also lets people talk about their interests and you gain a little inside into who they really are. I always reciprocate by telling people about this app. This is by far my favorite app. We use it all the time on family trips or even just visiting a different part of the city where we are currently live. my favorite fine so far is the baby head cemetery in Central Texas. Lol.

App uses AI ‘art’ slop

Love this

We travel a lot as a homeschooling family. I’m always on the lap looking for a learning opportunity wherever we are. This is so simple and fun and easy!

Literally just boring Atlas Obscura

Why would I want to be charged to find out where an old school or some gears from a canal are?

Truly amazing history

This app is amazing!! 10/10 recommend for any history buffs!

Poor map design

In addition to the map not showing highway designation, there are way too many attractions bundled together and lousy filters to narrow it down.

Missing

Missing a lot of sites that are worth exploring. Penitente canyon and natural arch near it

Not what I hoped

I wanted to like this, but had nothing but problems, tracking my location in real time was a challenge for this thing, so either alerts came in after they were passed or not at all. You can’t zoom out on the map to see what other attractions there might be and the lack of street names is frustrating. Why do you have elementary schools listed? That just clogs up the map. This thing also didn’t alert me to an attraction I passed even though the entrance was right off the road I was traveling. This might be more of a history app vs a real travel map and that isn’t what I was hoping for

Short not interesting stories

There are so much history in our road trip. Instead we got seconds long boring non connected stories

No good

Wanted to try it but all it showed in my home town was cemeteries. Also didn’t like that it automatically charges for use. Promptly deleted

Your app truly makes a difference!

I was at jury duty and wandered out at lunch, and because of your app I found the Purple Heart Memorial here in San Antonio. I would have never known it was there without @ExploreHereApp.

It really hit home for me. My father-in-law (who has passed) was a POW in the Bataan Death March during WWII and earned three Purple Hearts. I didn’t see his name on the memorial, which surprised me since he lived here in San Antonio. My husband is going to call tomorrow to find out more about how the bricks work.

Just wanted you to know — your app truly makes a difference. It connects people to places and stories that matter. Thank you for creating something so meaningful.

CarPlay

Once I got it to work with CarPlay it was such a joy to listen about the history of the area I was in.

Love this app but not opening after new update

The app won’t load past the opening screen.

Great for those who love history!

I used this app in my hometown and on a trip out of town. Locally, I was able to learn more about historical markers in my community. I also found some hidden gems I had never explored. On the trip, I was able to utilize a few extra hours and explore an unknown city with ease.

The app did crash a couple of times but nothing too major. I found an error in one of the landmarks. I contacted customer service and Wes was quick to respond. I’m looking forward to learning more of the apps features and will update review.

fun way to learn

I'm often off-roading and love being able to stop and see all these moments in history.

Works Perfectly!! GREAT developer response!!

I was initially having trouble with this app and vented my frustrations because I wanted so badly for it to work. I saw the tremendous potential it had for a history buff like myself and was really excited for it to work. Wes, the developer responded to my post and we got in contact with each other and now the app is working PERFECTLY!! I couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Wes, for the tremendous support and for creating such a great app!!
