Mind maps buggy, totally broken after update
Been using this app for awhile — great until I tried the mind maps. I accidentally deleted a bunch of text because I had the mind maps nodes collapsed but apparently could still select them with the lasso. Now after latest update all my existing mind map nodes are completely broken and trying to edit or move them messes everything up. Developer contact link doesn’t work — please fix it!

Good app but allowing us to change the text colors would make this a great app.

Packs a lot on power. Still exploring all it can do. Just wish we had a few other colored app icons to match our home screen.
I hate the pen option
For the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to switch it out from a fountain pen into a regular one I don’t like how the fountain pen writes I always just use the regular one pls lmk if I’m doing something wrong or if they just don’t have the option and if they don’t that just sucks
IOS 18 broke features
Recently purchased the paid version of this app and was really enjoying it. The iOS and iPadOS 18 update broke some key features with making selections among other issues. I hope the developer can fix the issues because the paid version is not worth paying for at this time.

Thank you for your feedback, we have made a fix in the next version of the upgrade, which will resolve some issues When users upgrade to iOS18, you can upgrade BigPaper to a new version to resolve these issues.
Does exactly as advertised
I just needed an endless canvas to draw out mind maps. I don’t like using mind map makers as they get too convoluted (which ironically is one of the main paid features of this app). Here I can just draw mind maps by hand. I only use the pencil and highlighter. Nice you can import images too.
Lines snap to straight lines, arrows and curved lines which is nice. The double tap to undo doesn’t work very well but there is a back button which is easy enough to get to and the eraser can delete by object so it’s quick to make corrections.
The premium features seem pretty useless to me but that’s all good.

This Could Be An Amazing App, BUT…
.. it needs some work to fix issues with it.
There are lots of times where the app simply freezes.
Other times, the app is slow to respond to what’s selected.
The MindMap facility does not work properly.
When you (try) select something it often won’t do it.
It feels like the app is half finished.

This could be a CHART TOPPING APP if it’s FIXED QUICKLY!
If the developer waits too long to fix it, people’ll lose interest.
I do hope to see this fixed up, I like the concept a lot.
Otherwise, if it’s not fixed, I’ve wasted £10.00.

Notes disappeared. Unreliable app.
App has potential to be a really good app, but fails at being reliable. All of my notes suddenly disappeared after saving. Sad to delete this app, but there is no point in keeping it if it just glitches. I would have upgraded to the pro version if it saved my notes.

It is a nice app has great features. Some interesting features are behind a pay wall. Otherwise, runs quite smoothly.
Missing feature is ability to paste photos from clipboard.

Nice apps but have some bugs
The idea is great but I was surprised when my lot of notes written in white background using black ink disappeared at evening. Later, I noticed that light and dark display made it disappeared. Written in black ink become white in white background! Else, the application is helpful.
