Some useful sliders, but not quite the website experience
I bought the basic app expecting it to be like the website. But in the mobile app, the weight slider is hidden away off on the Settings screen and the gradient slider is capped at a 12% max value. These things limit the app’s utility for comparing different riders’s necessary power output on steep climbs or comparing the difficulty of different pack weights for bikepacking adventures.
And the UI could use some aesthetic smoothing from a visual designer’s touch, too.
One suggestion for functionality improvement would be to incorporate gearing and cadence into the input math, so that it could be used to assess which drivetrains are best suited to handle a certain expected gradient range. This can be helpful for bike purchases.
