Fantastic for Trail Running
Possibly a bit sacrilegious but I tested the app for two legs rather than two wheels. Hyper accurate over a 16K course with some challenging twists and turns. Big thanks to the developer.
Trusty planner and navigator
This app is simple but great for adding your own GPX files and then following them. Importing is seamless, as are other app functions. I think an option to bulk-delete routes or be able to rearrange the order of them would be great.
Best iPhone app for long distance ride tracking I’ve found
My Garmin died on day 1 of a 4 day bike tour due to rain, and I used this app to track the remainder of my tour! I found it much easier to look at the route and stats (eg. upcoming elevation) compared to other platforms like Strava or RWGPS. The auto-screen dimming (down to 5% brightness) is genius and allows you to preserve battery life! 💯

Navigation features don’t work
I paid for the premium version so I could get audio queues for turns when on a route, but that feature doesn’t work at all. The live activity that shows up on my apple watch is also useless. If I have to pull out my phone intermittently to know where I’m going there’s no point in navigation in the first place.

This app is great!
This is exactly what I needed - a no frills app to help me follow bike routes I’m unfamiliar with. The free version works great for my needs, but I bought premium just to support the developers because it’s perfect.
I really enjoyed the “off route” warning.
2 suggestions after using it today:
(1) let users preview the warning sounds, makes it easier to decide if it’s desirable or not
(2) let users turn off the route finishing warnings, those kind of took me out of the moment.

Very good for a free GPX route guider. But it’s become unstable recently.
When it works, it works very well (within limits) but I’ve noticed it crashing frequently after the latest iOS update (18.1.1) when guiding. It’s also started asking me to relaunch the app from the lock screen (big red banner) to complete the route or suchlike. A bit annoying. Hopefully an update will fix the frequent crashing.

Great app really easy to use, would be great if we could download the country map so you can still see a detailed map when you loose signal.

Nearly crying with frustration trying to get a GPX track into a well known UK map app - with Bike GPX, took seconds and worked flawlessly. So simple, a model of how a good app should work. Thanks guys.

Certain things don’t work even when you pay for them eg notifications.

Does one thing really well
This is just a brilliant app. It does one thing - enables you to follow a GPX file on a bike ride - incredibly well. No bloat, no annoying ads, just really solid functionality.
I liked it so much I upgraded to the paid version, as much as to say thanks to the developer as anything, the free version is all most people will need.

Great app… so much so that I paid for the upgrade. However it’s still not giving me access to the locked features???

Very useful and until recently super easy to use
This little app has great functionality but it looks like strava must have made it harder to copy and paste into the app as I cannot get it to work unless I save a file and upload and even that does not always work.
Offline maps ?
Just like that, a flurry of activity and improvements delivered from this forgotten app. Thanks for your continued development. One request…. Offline maps (even if just a strip along the length of the selected route???).
Not loading after the latest update
The app closung down straight after opening and selecting *select Route* option due to the latest update installed, please fix, thank you
Great app, clunky uploads
This app is superb for its adjustable sized speedo and clear routing. It would be even better if the compass was always visble, and, more importantly, gpx files could be opened by the app. For now we have to go to the BikeGPX website, browse for our gpx route, open it, wait and hope not to get the Internal Server Error message, save it and finally open it in the BikeGpx app. I say please ditch the website or at least make it more communicative. There's no means of contacting BikeGPX except, maybe, thru this review.

Love this app
This app is excellent, it has all the features I was looking for, and is very accurate and reliable. Being able to import gpx file la using URLs from common websites like garmin connect and strava is super convenient. Love the turn alerts, goal setting, off track alerts, altitude graph, etc.
