What's New in TrainerDay

10.3.7

November 6, 2026

• Redesigned Activities: a weekly summary of your training hours, new activity cards, and a reworked activity screen with a chart cursor and time in power and heart rate zones • On tablets and unfolded foldables, Activities show the list and the open activity side by side; on a turned phone the chart sits beside the numbers • Rate how hard a ride felt (Perceived Exertion) when you save it or later on the activity screen, and rename activities — both shared with the web app • See which services each activity was synced with (Strava, TrainingPeaks, Garmin and more) • Compare workout blocks side by side (with EF drift) and download the blocks table as CSV • Mark ranges on an activity's chart — they're shared with the web app • New share pictures for your activities, ready for Instagram stories, including a transparent chart sticker • Deleted Activities: discarded and deleted rides stay there for 30 days and show why; rides the app couldn't save can be downloaded as raw data for our support team • A new native tab bar at the bottom of the screen • Faster app start and smoother switching between tabs • Activities open instantly and stay available without internet • New Sync now button on the Strava connection to resend any activities that didn't reach Strava (activities under 1 minute are skipped) • Strava Re-sync in the Activities menu updates your activities from Strava (Pro) • The app asks you to reconnect Strava or TrainingPeaks when a permission it needs is missing • Fixed rides saving with 0 W when a separate cadence sensor connected before the smart trainer — the trainer now always provides power and speed • Fixed discarded rides showing up empty in Deleted Activities • Fixed rides recorded on the phone showing the wrong start time, also in TCX exports • Fixed Power Match when Double Single-Side Power is on • Fixed interval beeps briefly freezing the app on iOS • Fixed the zone badge on the training screen sometimes showing a different zone than the chart (e.g. Z1 next to a Z2 bar) • Fixed the training screen layout after rotating the device • Fixed missing spaces in workout text descriptions • Fixed Polish and Russian plural forms (e.g. "5 minut" instead of "5 minuty") • Fixed activities imported from Garmin or Strava without power data not appearing in Activities

Fantastic value, amazing customer service

Just an average cyclist and I’ve been using TrainerRoad for a few years. But Trainerday gives me everything I had there at 70% less cost. Best of all the planning software is better - simpler to use and more flexible. Obviously not got the immersive graphics - that’s Zwift - but I don’t want that. What you do get is an active founder who reads all feedback personally and acts in real time. Wow!!

Simple

Needed to replace the original kurt kinetic app on my smart controller when kurt decided to drop support! TrainerDay is simple to connect and offers a couple of options for use…including a free basic option and a reasonably priced pri option. Kurt is very disappointing but this app is a great way to replace the Kurt kinetic app

Tacx + Apple Watch

I finally got this app to connect with my second hand TACX trainer and Apple Watch for a heart rate. It appears not many apps do that. If you’re having trouble, connecting your Apple Watch heart rate data to the app make sure to open the Trainerday app on your Apple Watch, also allow heart rate monitoring in settings under privacy and the Trainerday app.

Does what it’s meant to do, no fluff

If you don’t care about the VR part of cycling and just want to get good reps in. This is the app for a fraction of the price.

Amazing

the app and its functionality amazing! But it is second compared to Alex and his team. What they do behind the scenes has saved me from needing to buy a new trainer. Thank you Alex!
