Trash App

Waisted my time for 45 minutes

Buggy, Terrible App

It took my family 25 minutes to get the stupid app to allow us to rent four bikes. It must have been vibecoded by drunken monkeys.

Really unintuitive app

Tried to rent 2 bikes, couldn’t do it at all. I had to create a new account to do something as simple as get two bikes out. UK zip code does not come up using letters which post codes have.

Needs. A lot of rework.

Worst app

It is the worst app I’ve ever used, useless.

Scam

It sucked in my $50 in my card without telling me.holy scam worst app in my phone 100%.I’m don’t even live here and I just lost the money and I can’t do anything about it.

Bike quality

The bikes weigh over 25 kg and are not fun to ride. The gears are either way too hard or way too easy.

There are almost never any e-bikes available at the stations.

They also place a $50 hold on your card when you unlock a bike, and it can take up to 20 days to get it back. Overall, not a great experience

Unknown charge

I paid for two bikes with a day pass on July 20 and I was charged $33.90. However the app charged me again today (July 21) for $37.96. And another $50, I know it’s for a deposit and I will get it back in a several day.

I love it

So great! (Cud be cheaper)

Get on it!

Works great, love the program!

Awful on-boarding

Terrible signup experience.. gave up

parking sucks

This will be very convenient in downtown to go to work but the problem is the parking either full or the station docks aren’t working it makes you late at work by looking for a station to park it and and frustrating to park it in the docks that’s available but it’s not working to put the bike on it. In addition it’s expensive for a year that mostly you can only use it for 5 months because either the snow is late or early. and 45minutes not even enough i need to stop look for bike and return it and get it again was cause my travelling time to go to work. they should built the scooter too where you can leave it anywhere it doesn’t need the parking lot.

Won’t let me update payment info!

Super annoying. I keep getting an error message even on the website. Also when I select Profile I get a server error message!

Please take my money

My credit card has expired. When I try auto-filling a credit card number the app goes haywire and has to be killed. Meanwhile the website has some obscure error. Does corporate strategy involve receiving payment?!

Outstanding Achievement in Broken UI and Frozen Cameras

If your idea of a fun Friday afternoon is standing around staring at a frozen card scanner while your sanity slowly evaporates, this app is a 10/10.

The development team has achieved something truly spectacular: a payment gateway that is completely immune to processing a transaction. The OCR card scanner doesn't just fail to read the card; it triggers a deep, existential meditation where the entire UI freezes up and refuses to respond to human touch. I’m genuinely curious what the engineering team does all day. Are we testing the limits of human patience, or is this a psychological experiment funded by the city? If you actually want to get somewhere on time, you're better off walking backward than trying to deal with this absolute disaster of a codebase. Fix your broken architecture.

Basic and unusable

Who made this app an 5yo boy?

So bad

Terrible

Terrible app

The app is so laggy. Does not register touches and I have to restart the app. No option to add more bikes after a pass has been purchased. No Apple Pay as payment method.

No bikes available

As an app and as a service Bike Share Toronto has become pathetic.

By far the biggest issue is throughout the city there are constantly no bikes available.

It’s at a point now I’ve gone from using the app near daily to almost never simply because there are no bikes available.

Need app for bike, app doesn’t work, can’t get bike

Trash app that doesn’t work at all. Can’t update my payment after previous card was compromised. Can’t even update my birthday I have to call customer service to do that? What?! Crashes constantly. Won’t connect to servers. Sure would like to rent a bike but the app is now the only way to do that and it just doesn’t work. Massive biking infrastructure initiative laid low by incompetent app builders.
