Always breaks
Have to leave a review after three times having to spend time with customer service to unlock broken racks. It’s so glitchy, customer service is non responsive and not helpful. Just an all around terrible product.
Does not work and no support available
You cannot unlock your bikes and nobody answers the support phone number or responds.
Variable
This is a great idea but unfortunately there are often broken docks. The support in the app makes it really difficult to provide accurate feedback about this or get an idea if an actual person is responding to the problem.
Can’t get in
They send me an authentication number and there’s no way to put it in!
Horrible customer service and useless product
Just use a bike lock. 12/23/2025: the Bikeep rack lost power and my bike was trapped. Support told me they were going to restart the rack and it would take 10 minutes and to call back if it was not online. Still stuck for over an hour and support was not answering my calls. Their chat support could not get in contact with any local partners because “people in holiday spirit.”

Waste of time and money
Translink Vancouver advertised super secure on demand bike parking at the Lonsdale Quay terminal. Except when I got there, the lockers were all subscription only. Instead they also had some Lockeep racks with a super secure locking system. So I signed up for the app, paid with Apple Pay...and only then found out their stupid system was poorly engineered and didn't fit my extremely common Rad Rover 4 e bike. So now in order to not miss my event I've had to leave a $3000 bike chained outside at night in downtown Vancouver, about which I'll be worried the entire time. Thanks for nothing.

Virtually useless
I seriously regret giving this app my phone number (necessary to get it to do anything at all).
After reluctantly providing my phone number, the app it went through several intro screens, but the text on the screens was so off center that only a few letters of each line of text was visible. I have no idea what it was trying to tell me in the half dozen or so screens.
When I get in it has a banner that refuses to go away and covers the top line of text that I haven't allowed to track my location. I can browse the map just fine without constantly giving bikeep my geo location so they can sell it, but there's no way to get rid of the message or see what it says underneath it.
It looks like it will allow me to reserve a locker or rack, but when I go into that function it shows me what is clearly supposed to be a tutorial, with a message above it that allows me to turn the tutorial off, but the part of the window that's supposed to show the instructions is completely blank.
Seriously, these glaring problems could not possibly have made past even the most basic test. I guess bikeep doesn't bother with such frivolous efforts as checking to see if the software works before releasing it to the App Store.

How can you possibly say that your software doesn't meet your standards? Your company released the software in a completely nonfunctional condition. One that any testing whatsoever would have caught. Whose standard did that meet if it wasn't yours?

Use at Your Own Risk
Like the other user, I had exactly the same 4-day loss experience as the other reviewer (22 st STN?). I too wasted an immense amount of my time to fix their problem. I don’t want to spend any more of my life fighting with this broken app.
In addition to the 4 days of estrangement, I have had a number of other problems with this company and their local partner, Urban Racks. The system does not work as intended. Do not use it.

Easy to setup and use
I was excited to come across these today in Denver. The app setup flow was easy and simple and I actually appreciated the lack of user creation. It was quick to get the text code and then go right to locking the bike.
We locked two bikes and then got some food before unlocking and leaving. Seemed secure enough for the busy place we were at. Would be cool if these were at grocery stores or other high traffic places.

Great idea & easy to use
Used today at Mount hot pools. Downloaded app, used my apple id, scanned QRcode. Instantly locked. Very happy and it’s free!!!

App crashes every time I click ‘scan’. Worked on my old phone but not working on my new iPhone 15. I talked to support and they’ve just said they’ll pass it onto IT…
Terrible Customer Service and Faulty Equipment
I had a terrible experience with this company. My bike was locked in their storage unit for 4 days. No one answered when I tried calling support numbers, emailing their email and no response on their Chatbox. It was 3 days before I got an answer which came from a third party contractor - not the Bikeep team and then it took someone 2+ hours to get my bike out of the storage unit on the 4th day because the locking mechanism was broken. I wasted hours on this because of a lack of communication.
I will never use this company again and strongly recommend you avoid using them.

Locate Easily
Easy to use application that quickly allows you to locate open rack or locker options.
App routinely fails to work
I had high hopes for this. Biking and transit are integral parts of my daily commute. This application and the lockers are patently unreliable. Multiple times, the app just blinks and doesn’t scan the QR code. The locker has failed to unlock. After scanning the QR code I get an error that “heartbeat not found” etc. this is super frustrating as I was relying on it for transportation to work highly. Do not recommend this application until they fix the system.

Useful, but would be better with Apple Watch
This app is useful for finding parking. It also allows you to leave home without a bike lock, great.
But when will there be an Apple Watch app (or Apple Wallet card that can be added to the Watch and used with NFC)? I sometimes leave home with just the Watch, no iPhone, especially when biking or exercising. Please let us use the Apple Watch for locking too!
Also, would be great if you didn’t ask for phone or email — shouldn’t need to collect that data for parking your bike.
