Good but very buggy

Hi! Sorry to hear that you've run into these issues. Have you checked that the filters / date range are set to include your June transaction dates? If you click the three dots on the top right-hand side of the Overview screen you can change the date range shown. If you're still having problems please email support@billroo.com as we would love to get you back on track! Thanks, Natalie
Very user friendly
Well done

Scam

Hi! Billroo uses the secure Open Banking framework, which means we do not have access to bank logins or financial data for any of our users. Open Banking is regulated by the ACCC and is the most secure method of ensuring your data stays protected when using third-party apps. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email support@billoo.com
Needs lots of improvements

Hi Abhi, thanks for the honest feedback, and sorry this has been frustrating. Billroo’s auto-categorisation improves as you use it (it learns your preferences over time). After you change the category of a transaction, you will get a prompt to bulk update previous similar transactions. And future ones from the same merchant/description will use this category automatically. If you’re not seeing that prompt (or a specific merchant keeps getting it wrong), we’re happy to help. Please email us at support@billroo.com. We can’t email you directly from the review because it looks like you signed up using Apple Private Relay, but if you reach out, we’ll jump on it.
Budgeting should be mandatory
By month two I could clearly see my spending habits, and I was honestly shocked at how much money was being wasted without me realising it.
As a result, I renegotiated or changed my electricity, gas, internet, health cover, and home & contents insurance. I cancelled unnecessary streaming services, reduced my work lunch spend, halved my alcohol costs, moved to a smaller council garbage bin, and now always use the cheapest petrol station.
Next month I’ll also shift my grocery shopping to Aldi.
The result? $3,271 saved every year.
This app doesn’t just track spending — it changes behaviour.
Credit to Queenie and Pablo for building such a powerful and practical tool.
Highly recommended.
