Send everyone their share. SCANNING THAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Point your camera at the receipt and Billy reads the items using Apple's on-device text recognition. No AI service, no server, no upload. The photo never leaves your phone and is not kept. Because paper receipts are creased, faded and inconsistent, every scan opens a review screen first. Fix a name, correct a price, untick anything that isn't an item, add whatever was missed. Only what you confirm reaches the bill. TAX AND SERVICE, DONE PROPERLY Restaurants price two different ways, and Billy supports both. If menu prices exclude tax and service, they're added to the subtotal and split in proportion to what each person ordered — so the person who had the expensive main pays more of the service, which is only fair. If prices already include them, nothing is added twice. SPLIT HOWEVER IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED Assign an item to one person, to a few who shared it, or to everyone. Anything left unassigned is split equally and flagged, so you never accidentally leave something out. Quantities, discounts, tips and delivery are all handled. THE MATHS ALWAYS ADDS UP Money is handled in whole piastres and leftover pennies are handed out one at a time, never rounded away. Each person's share is exact, and the shares always total the bill.
