WAS great now useless
This app WAS fantastic now however now it is useless.
I was a user for a long time. Due to private reasons I had to stop the subscription but when I started it up again, they were ok to take my money but IMPOSSIBLE to contact to ask why I cannot update the maps.
You have to “login” but the message say that “you don’t have permission to log in” and the only way to get help is to “login” which I can’t because I don’t have permission. Who’s brain-fart of an idea is that? I can’t even ask to get my money back. So effectively all communication with them is blocked. Absolutely fantastic idea-NOT.
Apparently it is FOR SALE.
Just click on the app support button and look at the answer you get.

password reset
password reset does not work so It locks you out once you pay your subscription
Contour lines have vanished
Usually a good and reliable off road topo tool. Then the contour lines vanished and have still not reappeared in the latest version that I downloaded this morning. No support from either Billygoat or Apple. Will be cancelling my subscription shortly.

No help available, not paying for it again after all these years as it’s not usable in the way it’s supposed to no still not fixed

Unable to log in to the app or create a new account. Support domain is for sale. Guess this app is no longer supported.

Just renewed subscription and updated maps, and has watermark blocking the screen saying cartotype licence expired 2025-11-25

App is in dire need of fixing, can’t open the app, automatically boots you out of it.

App not working on my phone
I originally used this app for years, but a few years ago it stopped working and would constantly shut down, so I ended up deleting it. I’ve tried reinstalling it a few times over the years, but the same issue kept happening.
I’ve just re-downloaded it again — it initially did the same thing, but I managed to get past that. Now it won’t let me log in due to an “internet” error.
What’s frustrating is that when the app first stopped working, I had just purchased six months of premium. I’d really like to be able to use this app again.

Unable to create account
Trying to create an account and use the app however i keep getting the prompt notifying me there is no internet connectivity.
Tried on mobile data and at home on the wifi with no luck.

Good things must come to an end
I’ve been using this app for many years and have been very happy. Now is very glitchy and cannot import files or backup files server is always not available. Over it so changing over to another app. Seams this one is fried.

The App is sitting mid download and not responding in the App Store

Just drops out when trying to start, I installed/reinstalled downloaded off/on etc. Cant even contact them, no phone number. I think because my iphone is latest and up to date.

Nice free features
I appreciated loading this up for a decent free Topo of Wilson’s Prom np in Australia for a trip we did on short notice. Liked the offline location feature n the map as well

Such an awesome app can use free option or paid and both are amazing love the app
Ok, but…
App functions pretty well, overall really happy with its performance, however the lack of landscape mode is puzzling?would also love to see a CarPlay version ;)
