Update 24/1026-IOS 27.01 IPhone 16 - App stürzt direkt ab
IOS 27.01 IPhone 16 - App stürzt direkt ab. Schade … Update: 24/10/26 nach dem letzten Update ist wieder alles top - deshalb 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All good now!
Update fixed issues I was having.
It’s fixed.
No way to contact developer or report a problem. Only option is to leave a bad review. Just crashes as soon as it opens on iPhone and iPad. Tried reinstalling
Crashes and won’t open
As others have mentioned, app is broken
Super App
App crashes as soon as I click the app icon.
I can’t open the app anymore. After an update the app is completely broken, unfortunately.
not opening
i really enjoyed this app, I was learning a lot and using it daily, it even identified a local frog, a couple of days ago it just stopped opening, I have reinstalled it with no effect, Merlin still works.
Geht mit neuem OS nicht mehr
OS Update letzte Nacht und App geht nicht mehr. Schade 😥
Startet nicht mehr
Leider stürzt die App direkt beim Start ab. iPhone 16 Pro.
Tolle App aber nicht nutzbar mit iOS 27
Stürzt unter iOS 27 leider direkt beim Start ab
Refuses to launch
Why? Waste of £
BirdNET Live
Die App wurde geladen und installiert, aber leider startet die nicht bei meinem iphone 16.
Schade!
Schade!
Won’t let me open the app
When I click on the app icon to open the app, it closes out of the app within a second. This is in a month of using the app.
Great but now crashes when opening
This app is superb but now refuses to open!
Great App - External USB Mic Problem on MacOS 15.7.9
This is a really nice app based on BirdNET for acoustic bird surveys and monitoring, with lots of useful features.
I was hoping to use it on my MacBook Pro (M2 Pro, macOS 15.7.9) with an external USB microphone. However, when the USB microphone is selected as the System Default in macOS Audio Input settings, BirdNET Live doesn’t show any audio. The BirdNET Live audio input setting only offers “System Default” and doesn’t provide an option to select the USB microphone directly.
I have tested the microphone with Audacity, where it works correctly, and the Merlin app also detects and uses it without any problems. BirdNET Live works correctly with the Mac’s built-in microphone.
I would really like to use BirdNET Live with the USB microphone so that I can position it outside a window for acoustic bird monitoring. Is USB microphone input supported, or could this be added in a future version?

Hugely configurable
This is a very impressive advancement for the BirdNet app and the most powerful and configurable bird song identifier I have used. It can be used very flexibly from live to long duration recording as well as file analysis from other devices. Accuracy is incredible and surpasses anything else at the time of writing

Meets User Needs - more!
Previous review praising BirdNET Live and its abilities revised - to reflect my finding the setting for a full screen of observations during a session. Great app, great positioning. “Professional bioacoustics in your pocket. Built for field researchers, conservationists, and serious birders.”
Meets user needs!
A very nice app, representing a big addition to the category! Using in Live mode, would like to see the full session list rather than just the current bird. The full list is available only after stopping, at least what I’ve been able to do.
Love this app and its clear positioning- Professional Bioacoustics in your Pocket.
