App has lots of potential

Desktop app is really good, could use a little work, but I like it.
The phone app is quite the opposite, highly mediocre. Can only look at links, not my QR codes I created. Cannot view my pages I created. Missing several areas to view.
Cannot add my links to a text (With the plugin app in my texts). Needs more work.

QR code option missing

I used to love this app. What happened to the QR Code option? It’s no longer available. Ugghhh…so frustrating.

Doesn’t work

What’s the point of it if you can’t see how many people clicked on your links?? Fix it, it used to work once…

App is buggy garbage

Fix your app. How can you run a business this way?? QR code not displaying. Hide bitly option not saving (fraud?). Use any other solution!!

It’s not a bad app

The app was overall good. It just need more specific guidelines and directions on what needed to be done and more accurate instructions.

I cannot view stats or analytics on my links in mobile app

I lost the ability to track and view these although I’m a paying bitly client.

Not working

Counts for shortened links don’t show up in the app (even though they do in the web-based version).

Amazing site. Minimal app.

The numbers on every link are set to zero regardless how many clicks have been recorded by the system and show accurately online.

Analytics and click counter doesn’t work

Bug fixes required urgently.
This app is really clunky.

Doesn’t work

Literally doesn’t work

Abandoned app

Looks like they abandoned development of this app. Hasn’t been updated in over a year. Anytime I loaded up and view my account, which is paid by the way, zero data flows through so zero analytics showing zero engagement. On the website it does show engagement, data and everything else. This app has been abandoned

All Links Showing 0

Not sure what happened to my data in this Bitly app but as of 2025 all my links (old and new) are displaying “0” with expanded details displaying “No Clicks on this Link” - Online data remains (mostly) accurate. Please fix ASAP!

Use the web

Has less features than the web, eg something as basic as adding a custom back-half. Now I remember why I uninstalled it on my prior phone

Wait 10 seconds then redirect?

The new redirection system you added is a shame act from you. And definitely will be the end of something called bitly. A great opportunity for your competitors..
I’m so disappointed of you and will never use your service again. I just went back and took down hundreds of your links I been using.

Doesn’t work any more

I loved it for years. It was a great place to shorten links and store them. But it doesn’t work for me any more. 😢

It was nice when it worked

I’m running IOS v 17.4.1 and have been using the free version of bitly for the last several years. When attempting to open a link in the bitly IOS app, the message is “Failed to retrieve link information!”. I suspect this is bitly phasing our their “free” app. The fees to upgrade to a paid account are too high for the occasional user like me. Be aware also to copy links created in bitly to an external program or pay $300+ to have the ability to export your links.

It’s ok

The only thing that is not ok is you can’t delete links

Paste clipboard! Lost trust.

Bitly want’s to paste from clipboard on open. Bad practice, glad Apple is exposing companies like Bitly.

Want your reputation harmed? Use bitly.

I have a paid account and they blocked a link of mine with a disturbing “blocked content” page, without explaining what the unacceptable content was. Not worth paying for.
