User reviews

Is this still an app?

Logins don’t work on the website or the app. Every time I open either it asks me to purchase the annual subscription or monthly option which I already did. It never had me make an account either. Sometimes I get to the home page sometimes I don’t. I’m worried to write anything in here not knowing if it will just randomly get deleted.

Ease of use

It’s very simple to use and helps keep my bits organized

Best App for Comics

I’ve been searching for the best app to gather my bits and I asked around but no one knew how to organise their work! Ann Dominic is now sharing the news! This is the best App

Great App

Bits is a great way to organize your stand up bits. It allows you to group them into a set and the comedy gym option is a great way to get a random topic and work on your craft. The app gives constructive feedback on your bits, which is great if you’re still new to the stand up scene. I highly recommend.

Response from developer

Hey there! Thanks so much for this kind review! 🤗

It Deletes Your Material

Pretty terrible of the developers to have a limit where I can’t even change my own jokes without you guys deleting them because I don’t pay for a subscription. It’s not like that’s the only way you guys can monetize instead of an advertisement system that can avoid taking data from client side use. Or at least a service that doesn’t screw you by deleting your jokes if you don’t pay them. That’s called RANSOMWARE. Give me my jokes back.

Response from developer

I’m sorry, but what? 😳 The app clearly prompts you to create an account if you want to secure your material. Without an account, there’s no way to confirm the material belongs to you. Obviously. This happens daily once you’ve written enough content, and you have to specifically state “I’ll take the risk” if you choose not to subscribe. You can export your material at any time if you wish. Unfortunately, you chose to take that risk repeatedly and never exported anything. Your material wasn’t deleted - it was never secured in the first place, by your own choice. If you want to find a solution, please reach out through more effective forms of communication and I’ll see what can be done (as other reviews show).
