I haven't been able to access the full site by app or web since I subscribed to it in July.

Can’t even create an account with ANY email. Trash.

Shows only butter recipes
Good start, room for improvement.
The app is works good for metropolitan areas, however, it could be better for smaller cities as well.
Also, it would be nice to have an existing API for reviews so users can quickly see helpful and recent reviews.
Would like to keep using to find and support black-owned restaurants!

This is an awesome tool and we are here for it. Although this is a new app, there will QA and updated versions. Progress is key. In creating my profile, the options that are available: General, Mobile Business and Location - I cannot get past that part setting up my profile as a “General” profile.
I will continue to move forward with my profile set up.

Love the concept. I’m always trying to find the best, new, Black-owned places to eat. My only complaint… 🗣️We need to see pics!! Other than that, keep it up. Looking forward to updates to the directory.

I love how the app bridges the gap between businesses and consumers. Hosting features that enable black owned businesses to showcase their skills and products. I equally enjoy knowing the available black owned eateries in my surrounding area for times when I want to adventure but not too far. Download it and find new dives or chefs in your area!

This is impressive, at first I was skeptical but I can honestly appreciate this app. It has ALL the black-owned restaurants and you can find caterers with recipes. I followed them on IG so I knew BFF was a vibe but to add, they have an app too?!? Thank y’all for this and supporting black businesses

Recipe portal it bad
I downloaded this app to find the recipes that are shown on IG. You can’t filter without an error. It doesn’t have a default way to turn off the filters so you can see all recipes (it has criteria like calories etc. that can’t be turned off). Also the search function yields “0” results even if you type in pancakes. So guess I’ll be deleting it smh.

Not worth downloading
I was super impressed by the instagram page, and seeing there was app were I could look up recipes I immediately downloaded the app just to delete it within minutes of going thru it. There was only a handful of recipes you couldn’t look up what you seen on the instagram page. Highly disappointed because there definitely potential.

App doesn’t have any local restaurants/bars/etc listed. The only part of the app that provided any information was the recipe and even that didn’t have much to offer.

Terrible…absolutely nothing in my area. Which I know that to be false. I mean NOTHING pulled up. It’s not easy to navigate through at all. Google is easier to use or social media

Had to jump through all the steps for the app to get a recipe from IG. App is pointless and after all of that the search feature barely works and the recipe isn’t even on here.

I travel a lot for work and this app definitely has some gems! It’s great to have it as a resource!
