Isnโ€™t a UV light

Iโ€™m a dummy too. It was the middle of the night and I needed to find a scorpion in my house. They glow with UV lights so I needed an app fast. This came up, stupid me, I didnโ€™t read the reviews. I tried to use it then saw the description that said itโ€™s not a UV light. How did this even get approved for the app store?

FAQ

What does the Black Light Vision app do?

Black Light Vision simulates the visual effect of a black light using your iPhone's camera. It filters the camera's view to create an appearance similar to what you would see under ultraviolet light, without actually emitting UV radiation.

Does this app produce actual UV light?

No, the app does not produce any UV light. It is purely a visual effect created by filtering the camera feed on your iPhone. The app's description explicitly states that it does not produce UV light.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, based on the provided information, the app is free to use. It does not have any associated costs or in-app purchases mentioned.

What kind of visual effect can I expect?

You can expect a visual effect that mimics how objects appear under a black light. This typically involves certain colors and materials appearing to glow or fluoresce, while other elements are obscured or appear differently due to the filtering.
